Esterium Project 0.0003 (announcement)

Character Creation:

• 4 body types, including 2 male, 2 female, and 2 futanari.
• 3 face types for each body type.
• 2 hairstyles for each body type, 3 hair colors.
• You will always be able to see your character, including all of the above features.
• Enter your character's name.
• The character will also display the equipped armor. In addition to the starting loincloth, you can buy leather armor from the blacksmith.
• 12 different origins that affect starting characteristics and some unique dialogue options.
  
  

• New background
• Pop-up windows with detailed information.
• Equipment rework. Gloves and pants are now part of the armor set.
• All icons have been redrawn.

• Action point system. You have a total of 3 points. Attacking costs 2 points, and you can spend one point to drink a healing potion.
• Special attacks and special status effects system. Currently, there is one weapon capable of inflicting bleeding.
  
  

• 2 new weapons. One you can craft, and the other you can take from an enemy.
• Several new locations and 1 new female character.
• Tyra's appearance has been changed, as has the scene with her.
• Improved trading system. The selling and buying prices now differ. The markup amount will depend on the NPC's attitude.
• You can learn something about the laws of this world from Cinder.
• In the Russian version, the gender of the main character is taken into account in the dialogues.
• Work is also underway to adjust the game's lore.
• In general, there are so many minor changes that I don't see the point in wasting your time. It's best to just try playing the game and share your opinion. At this early stage of development, your feedback is especially important.
• Known issues: There are some localization errors. A few lines in the combat log may not be translated. If there are too many untranslated lines, change the language in the settings, restart the game, and start a new game. That should help. I hope to fix this problem in the near future.

Bright Past 1.004 (announcement)

This update could be called a music update.

• A music player integrated into Alex's phone. All songs Alex writes will be added to the playlist and available for listening.

• The songs have been reworked and improved. The full list includes:

• I also added several new background tracks in the starting location for variety.
  
  
• Two concerts in the rock bar are now animated. One of the songs performed there has been replaced. It turned out to be a good track, by the way.
  
  
• Also, Alisa in the intro is now animated.
  
  

• Speaking of animations, the scene with Flavy on the highway is now animated.
  
  
• The TV channels in the living room are now animated too.
  
  
• A hot new scene with the nurses in the hospital. Available after visiting Jill at Michael's house.
  
  

• Alex's new car. A celebrity needs a decent ride. The car will cost 150,000. It's faster than others, but also uses more fuel.

Esterium Project 0.0002 (announcement)

Hello, friends. I want to be honest with you. Over the past month, I took a break from Bright Past and focused entirely on a new project — Esterium Project. That gave me a breather and the energy to continue.

Today is just an announcement. Tomorrow I’ll publish a separate post with the new Esterium build.

• 10 new locations
• 5 new NPCs
• A trading system
• A completely new quest journal with task tracking and stage breakdown
• 2 new side quests, one with a spicy ending (in the future I want to add multiple pathways depending on skills, background, and more)
• Added skills (their values are tied to attributes)
• New look for the cart location
• Updated item icons
• Labels on buttons for moving between locations
• New class selection icons
• Language switching should now work correctly (But If you see an error, please try restarting the game, and definitely let me know so I can fix it)
