Another week, another progress update!

The case where I was a witness two weeks ago continues tomorrow with more witness hearings, but I'm not going to be there anymore. My lawyer will, though, and he will update me on everything that's being said there. Nothing else going on in that regard so that's all I can share for now. Tomorrow ( 23rd ) and Thursday ( 25th ) are the last hearings for this month, then it will be decided if they actually gonna go through till the end of may or if this will be enough. Since the main culprit is still not back in Germany, more hearings shouldn't really be needed, I think. Once he is back in Germany though it will all start again. Hopefully I will also get some news regarding the case against me this week, though.

Okay, let's talk about the games

The script for the second beta/day of the prequel is about 70% done. I decided to try something else again to further deepen the relationship the MC has with certain girls. If you remember, when I announced the prequel girls I mentioned that not all of them will appear in the main game. Well, I changed my mind. The initial plan was just for Rei, Lea and Katharina to appear but now Jackie will 100% be part of the main game as well at some point. The reason is that initially, I just wanted her to be a "good friend" of the MC. During writing for the prequel it quickly turned out that making her his best friend is actually better and once you see the dialogues between them, you will understand why. She has a very good sense for people and their emotions and helps the MC through a confusing phase with Rei. The second day will also have some lewd action with a girl that people that played the beta probably didn't expect to get a treatment like that yet. It's going to be more of a funny and cute lewd event because both the MC and the girl are still very inexperienced. It's something new to write for me as well because even the MNF MC had some experience with women while the MNM MC in the prequel basically knows nothing. I guess he could use a teacher, some kind of red haired cougar...Maybe she helped him become the good lover he is in the main game? You'll see once you play it. The second day/beta also features some more stuff with Amelie but I'm still trying to figure out how to make her become a good friend of the MC. I have something in mind that happened in a book I read a lot of times before. Maybe they're going to share an experience that doesn't need much explaining - It will just lead to them becoming true friends. TOdays render is Sabrina in the lounge of the uni, where she has lunch with the MC, a good time to talk about a lot of things.

Now that I decided to include all the girls from the prequel in the main game as well, I was thinking about a way to introduce them. It's going to be very very easy with one of the girls, but some of the others might need some more time before they can appear. Now that the MC has all his memories back I can actually do some more "flashbacks" where I might end up using renders from the prequel to show what happened there. I know that not everyone is a fan of these, though, so I will make sure to use it rarely and only when the time fits. Like I said a few times, I want people that never played or intend to play the prequel still know who these girls are - and the other way around, too! Still, I wrote quite a bit for Chapter 4 again as well and if it continues like that, the full script will be ready sooner than I thought. Which will make the waiting for my assets even more painful, I think, but fingers crossed it won't be that long anymore.

Another week, another progress update!

First I want to say thank you again. I feel like I'm doing this more often than usual but it's also how I really feel - Super grateful. The comments and messages I received on my post from last tuesday were amazing. Now that this step is done I really hope that the case in general will move forward and I will be able to get my stuff back as soon as possible. Fingers crossed and again, thank you from the bottom of my heart guys. Lots of love for each and everyone of you!

Okay, let's talk about the games.

The first prequel Beta is now also available for $5 supporters. I changed it up a little because I needed as much feedback as I can to continue work on the prequel. So far all of the comments have been very very positive and people seem to really enjoy what I'm doing with the story there. This is of course the ideal scenario for me because now I can focus even more on expanding the story the way I wanted to. The second beta might even be ready this month - I'm having a blast writing the next part of the story. Especially Rei, a character that is very important to me, seems to be getting a lot of love and curiosity. And of course Katharina, Lea's mother, has seen a lot of fan love as well ( as Lea herself too ). Sabrina and Bethany are a given and Jackie's story seems to have touched a lot of people as well. The only uncertain part is Amelie but I'm sure I will get there for you guys ( the second day will show a lot of interesting sides regarding her ). Again, thank you guys for all the feedback so far. Of course I also worked on Chapter 4 again. If I hit a small wall in the prequel I just switch over to the main game and continue there. It's kinda what I did with MNF and MNM in general , just so I avoid a possible burnout. But I have to admit, it has been a long long time since I even felt close to having one. I mean, I had the break I had to take mentally after everything that has happened but I feel that now, with all the positive feedback I got regarding the prequel, I'm almost fully back and I can't even describe how good that feels. Of course there is always this lingering thought in my head that I want to continue work on Chapter 4 and I miss all of the main girls so much - Especially Anna and Yukiko. But working on the prequel filled me with a lot of hope and passion again, something that I feared was gone forever. I can't wait to hear your guys feedback on Chapter 4 once you play it.

I also started to create some of the characters for MNF2 already. I'm gonna go the classic way, though, so I started with Sandra and the twins ( since Sandra was the first character I ever made ). I don't have anything to show yet but it won't be too long until you can see how Sandra will look 18 years in the future. I mean, not that different if you paid attention to the MNF story, but different enough to say "Man, Sandy is a hot milf".

And I think that's it for now. Progress on the prequel is going way better than I expected and like usual, if I hear anything from my lawyer or the court, I'll let you guys know. A little shorter progress update this time, but I feel like we can use one of those from time to time, right? Stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

The personal stuff regarding the case tomorrow will be at the end again, so let's jump right into games!

As some of you might have noticed, I was able to release a first playable build for the My New Memories prequel for $15 and higher tier supporters. So far the feedback has been extremely positive, which honestly was a very welcome surprise to me. If you want to play the prequel Beta ( which is pretty long already ), just make sure you joined the discord after you picked the correct tier. On the coming weekend I will make it available to all $5 and higher tier supporters because I need as much feedback as possible to see if this can work as a bridge for the main game. So far it looks like it, though, and a lot of people have already found their favorites here and there ( and they have some interesting theories regarding one character and their possible reveal in the main game ). Todays render is from the last event of the beta, where you have a nightly and very emotional talk with Jackie.

Now that this beta is out I already started work on the "second" day, which will further reveal character traits for the MC and a lot of backstory to give you a better and clearer image on how he was before the accident ( and before he reuinted with Anna ). I made sure that Anna is mentioned a bunch of times in the prequel just to emphasize how important she was for the MC. But she is not the only one that is important to him. Lea, who basically grew up with the MCs family, also knows Anna. She will play a very important role to explain certain things that happened in the main game and why the MC is so open regarding Anna's kinks. Let's just say that Anna isn't the only one who has some very interesting views on love. It's a pretty cute and wholesome talk you're going to have with her in the morning, but the day will be pretty packed in general, since you will also get the chance to have a proper talk with Amelie. I want to make sure that what people liked about the main game transitions over to the prequel and vice versa. I know it's kinda difficult since My New Memories is all about healing and family, something that is not really present in the prequel. But I still hope that you guys will enjoy and see where I'm going with this. The next beta won't take as long as the first one because the foundation is laid now - Still, don't hesitate to send feedback if you end up playing it.

So with the first playable beta out for the prequel, I was able to write down a lot of notes on how I'm going to introduce these characters to the main game. I don't expect that everyone who played or plays the main game will check out the prequel and the other way around, so I have to make sure that each introduction in both games will make sense, even if you never played one of them before. I think I found a good way of doing that and "thanks" to the former amnesia of the MC, it will be easier to explain in the end. At least I hope so, you will be the judge of that.

Okay, now comes the part about my current situation. As you might remember, tomorrow I will be in court and testify as a witness ( and victim/side plantiff ) in a case that led to the main culprit ( who fled to thailand ) framing me that made the cops confiscate my equipment. A lot of the things regarding my case are still up in the air but my lawyer thinks that after I testified, we will get an update on the case file and will know more. The fact that the main culprit fled to thailand is pretty positive for me though, since the state attorney will probably think "Okay, he's accusing him of these crimes but then fleds to thailand because he's scared of his friends who helped him robbed him because he snitched all of their names to the cops? That doesn't add up" or something like that. I'm very stressed out regarding my court hearing tomorrow but thanks to therapy and a good friend of mine, I got some techniques that will help me redirect some of my focus to other things ( a pea in my shoe to trigger "pain" or pinching yourself between thumb and pointer finger, the 54321 exercise for people that know ). I really hope this will help and that my hearing won't last much longer than the planned hour. I think after I'm done testifying, I will feel better because I can close this chapter in my head. I will still continue to go to therapy ( my next session is actually on the 16th, one week after the hearing ) and I really really hope that this will also mean I will finally hear stuff regarding the case against me. It has been 7 months now that I've been basically stripped of what made my life worth living, as weird as that sounds. The prequel helps a lot with finding that again, it really does, but it will never be the same until I have my crucial assets back. Still, I want to thank you guys again from the bottom of my heart for all the incredible support and positive comments and messages I received these last few weeks. You might not believe it but they really really help, knowing that I have such a great community waiting for me to get out of this mess keeps me going more than you think. I love you guys for this, really.

Another week, another month, another progress update!

Not going to really talk about the case this week, I'll do that next week, when my witness hearing is.

Okay, let's talk about the games.

As you might have noticed I was not able to release the first prequel beta. I underestimated the amount of renders the first release has, but I'm at around 85% now, which means I will 10000% finish them this week, most likely before the weekend. The first beta will be posted on Discord, like usual, and I really really need your feedback if you have the time and will to play it. The main thing I want to know is if you can understand and enjoy the prequel without knowing anything about the main game. I know that's kinda difficult if you played My New Memories, but maybe you can help me with that. Feedback is crucial going forward to see what kind of content I should and should not put into it. Some of the renders might be rough because I'm using assets I never used before, but I hope the overall quality of renders will be on par or better than Chapter 3 of My New Memories.

Like I said a few times now, the first day of the prequel will be all over the place. You're going to have a morning with Sabrina, Bethany, Lea and Katharina enjoying breakfast before uni starts. In the University you will also see Jackie again, the best friend of the MC. Then you'll meet Rei for the first time and get a few options with her right away - She is a very important character for both the prequel and the main game. During time you spend with Rei you will also meet Amelie, which will make the roster of the main prequel girls complete. The rest of the day has this and that with some lewding and wholesome moments, not going to spoil more. My goal with the prequel is to create something that will make you even more excited for new stuff that will arrive in the main game and while I said that it will be a "one and done" kind of release, I will keep myself open to releasing another chapter if it turns out that my assets will be held hostage for a longer period of time. With the recent happenings though ( the main accuser fleeing to thailand ) I'm more hopeful than ever before that the case against me will be handled with faster now. At least I really hope so. Todays render is Sabrina on the couch, shortly before the MC has to leave the house to help Katharina's mother with something...

I also wrote quite a bit for Chapter 4 again given the fact that I'm mainly rendering at the moment. I'm on a really good way and once I have my assets back and did all the renders, I can release a first Beta for Chapter 4 as well. This one will be quite a bit longer than your regular betas for My New Memories because Chapter 4 in general will be a lot longer, but I don't think that's an issue, right? All in all I'm pretty happy with how the progress is going, all I'm missing is my stuff now...

And I think that's it for now. There is not much to talk about regarding the case(s) since my witness hearing will be next week. I have an appointment on the 4th with my lawyer to discuss this and I will also ask again if the fact that the main culprit ( who is the main accuser in the case against me ) fled to thailand will help me. I'm positive it will, though. If anything comes up during the week I'll let you guys know and once the first beta for the prequel is ready, I'll make another post! Stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

Before I start, there will be a small update to the situation I posted last week at the end of this post.

Also, the option to support me will be unlocked again on the 29th, so I'm not going to continue to pause pledges. If you don't want to or can't support me anymore, please keep in mind that Charges will resume on the 30th. If you supported me after October 14th, 2022, then Patreon will charge you on days you pledged ( So if you pledged on the 7th of a month, you would get charged on the 7th of April ). If you supported me before this date then you will be charged on April 1st.

Okay, let's jump into the games!

Like I promised last week, the script for the first day of the prologue is completed. Beege, my proofreader, is already checking it for typos etc. My first idea of making it "shorter" to give supporters a preview before continuing didn't really work out, so this first beta will be pretty long already - Like the MNM betas. The day will introduce all characters and you will get a lot of background info on them. Lea ( and her mother Katharina ) and Jackie will basically be childhood friends of the MC and Sabrina and they both knew Anna as well. Rei and Amelie will be new girls the MC meets, like I said when I showed the characters for the first time. I did my best to make it clear that especially Jackie is a very important person to the MC and I truly believe that playing the prequel will explain a lot of things that happened in the MCs life. Theres also going to be some pretty cute and funny moments, especially with the Busty mother of Lea. Lea is also the girl you see in todays progress update, shortly before the three of them ( Lea, Sabrina and the MC ) drive to the university. The car seems familiar, right? Well, like Sabrina said, this was the first car the MC got and that he worked on with his father. The Charger you see in the main game looks almost the same since Anna was able to find a very similar looking one ( I hope that finally clears up some confusion about this part of the conversation the MC has with Sabrina ). Now I only have to finish the rest of the renders I hope I'll be able to complete all of them this week!

I also worked on the Chapter 4 script some more now that I "only" have to make the renders for the first prequel beta. I feel like the prequel really helped me fleshing out some of the relationships the MC has or had in the past. Now that he has his memories back it will be so much easier to introduce characters the proper way. I think Chapter 3 already showed that a little, especially with girs like Lina and Yukiko becoming more how they really are, but the main part of this will happen in Chapter 4. You will see Morgan in a completely new light, for example, and the same goes for Jessica. They will stay the loveable and cute girls that they are, but especially Morgan will be more like her old self again. And if you are on the transgender path with her then you will get some very wholesome moments with her, the MC and Anna!

Okay, now the small update on the situation I explained last week. As you might remember, there is a case where I'm the witness/victim and side plantiff. Well, in a turn of events that no one predicted, the main culprit fled to Thailand. Yes, you read correctly, a few days before the court case started, he fled. According to his lawyer he was threatened by his friends ( maybe they aren't friends anymore now ) because he wanted to confess everything. But my lawyer(s) and I believe that is bullshit, he just wants to portray himself as a victim later on. There was even local press article about this stuff ( that he was able to flee to Thailand because he wasn't under arrest ). Anyway, my hearing as a witness is on the 9th at 12:30, because the court hearing is going to continue even without him. This could be a positive thing for the framing since he is the main "witness" ( with faked evidence ) in that case and now the state attorney might wonder why the fuck he fled. It looks like I only have to appear on that day and that my questioning won't be as long, at least I hope so. I will hear more from my lawyer on the 4th and I keep you guys updated on everything that will happen. Thank you guys so much for all the thoughts, prayers and positive comments last week by the way, that really really helped to calm my mind a little, so I appreciate that.

Another week, another progress update!

At the end of this post I'm going to share a bit of personal stuff that is going to happen in the next two months so if you don't want to read that ( that's fine ) you can just leave that part out.

Let's talk about the games right away!

I made a lot ( and I mean a lot ) of progress on the script of the first "day" of the prologue and the script in general should be finished today or tomorrow. It has about the length of a MNM day, like I said it would, and the rendering process will start this week ( my PC will basically run 24/7 again ). I think this first day of the prequel has a bit of everything, including a lewd scene! ( Yes, there will be a bunch of lewdscenes actually ). There is also going to be a good chunk of backstory regarding Anna, so for everyone that played MNM you will find out more regarding how Anna and the MC were connected and before she had to leave. My plan is that the prequel is something people can play that never played MNM before and still understand everything, while all of you amazing people who did play the maingame will get all the funny hints and subtle messages that explain some stuff that has happened in the main game so far. I think it's going to be a fun experience when you play a part in the prequel and be like "Ohh, so that's why this or that happened in the main game" and vice versa, once I can continue work on the maingame and you will meet some of the characters there you're going to be like "Nice, I remember her from the prequel!" All in all this is a winwin situation, I think, and can lead to more than just a distraction while I'm unable to work on MNM. Once I have a playable build out I will notify you guys and ask if you want me to re-enable the option to support again, so you can get the chance to play it if you are not currently supporting me on any platform. Todays render is Jackie in the lobby of the university.

I also wrote a little bit more for chapter 4 again and I'm really happy about the first lewd scene that is happening there. I also added some funny moments there that involve Lina, so you can probably imagine what is happening. It's not going to be like the kitchen situation but it will still be funny to see Pebbles interact with the MC and Anna in a very, very funny way. The whole family is overjoyed so the interactions will be even more light hearted than they already are. You will notice that girls that were more "shy" like Morgan will be very, very open and happy now that the family is reunited. The biggest change is probably the MC himself, something that the others will notice too and be very happy about.

Okay, I think that's all for the games now. I want to share something that I talked about in a few other progress updates.

As you might remember, there is a court case starting tomorrow ( the 19th ) that basically lead to certain individuals framing me with falsified evidence that lead to my equipment being confiscated. These individuals basically mugged me, which lead to them getting arrested and one of them making these claims against me. While I don't have to appear in court every day I will have to testify at one point, which means I will see the people that heavily traumatized me again. That is the main reason I'm currently in a PTSD therapy, not just the police raid but the stuff that happened one month prior to it ( august 2023 ). The court case will last until the end of may, there is 8 total days for it and I'm not sure when I'm going to have to testify ( my guess is sometimes in april ). I really hope that when this case is done, I can finally move on and the case against me will be dropped fast. The main culprit already confessed ( so he doesn't end up in jail before the court case starts ), so I hope that the state attorney will see that when I testify, I have nothing to hide. I'll keep you guys updated regarding this from time to time, but I wanted to share this just to get it off my chest - It's something that is impacting me more heavil these last few weeks, because I'm really not looking forward to see these individuals in court again. Working on the prequel and doing stuff for my games in general, interacting with you guys and reading all the positive messages over the last 6 months really helped me, so I appreciate you guys for rooting for me and wishing me all the best.
