Another week, another month, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games!

I made some decent Progress on the next prequel day which will probably lead to the first release of said prequel. I was figuring out how to do certain events and ease the newer characters to become more of the "core" members, like Amelie and Rei. Since the MC never met them before ( as far as he remembers ), it will be a very new experience for me to write "friends" like that. It was easier in My New Family because of the whole roomate scenario but for MNM, I can't rely on that, so it's going to be interesting to introduce these characters first as friends, then as good friends and then as love interests down the road. Especially Amelie is a tricky case, having a rough childhood with very bad experiences regarding men ( I feel like that is usually the case with some of these characters in my games and to be fair, it's always nice and emotional to write them like this ). After a certain event her and the MC immediately connect, though, and he is very interested to hear why she is studying music. Todays render shows Amelie at the MCs place, where she will meet Bethany for the first time as well ( In this case it was Sabrinas doing since she loves to introduce new friends to Bethany ). They will have a nice and long talk before the MC goes on his date with Rei - Where Amelie will try to give him some tips regarding that ( not that she has any experiences with dating either, it will be the first time for the MC as well ).

I also worked a lot on Chapter 4 again since the progress on the prequel was going a little slower. I managed to start to write a super cute event with Lena, where we will see a side of her that we never really saw before. Usually she is very tough and upfront, but this time the MC will bring her to a place that will spark a lot of emotions in her, leading to some rather deep and serious talks between them, especially regarding their future. With the MC having all his memories back, Lena will also not be an optional Love Interest anymore, but if you still don't want to spend much time with her because you don't enjoy her character that much, you will still have the the chance to do so. Just remember that the canon route is that they are a couple ( for Yukikos sake alone ). But yeah, this event will hopefully make Lena warm up to some of you amazing people that didn't like her that much yet. With Anna being awake and her pregnancy, things that seemed impossible are now not impossible anymore in the MCs eyes and he will do his best to show Lena what he means with that. That's all I can say for now, but I'm really looking forward to you amazing people playing this part of Chapter 4 and then telling me if I wrote it in a way that makes sense or if it will just be a little weird!

And I think that's it for now. I will update you guys as soon as possible, like usual, and a first playable demo for the prequel will also be out very soon ( probably this or next week ). It will be a shorter version of the first beta that was available for supporters, but it will give you an overview on all the characters etc! Until then, stay awesome, like usual!

Another week, another progress update!

First, I want to say thank you to all the positive comments on my rather personal post from early sunday morning. I really appreciate all of you amazing people who commented on it. I feel like if I didn't know I had the best community ever, I'd have sunken into a deep despair, especially since everything was so up in the air ( like my finances during that time, what happens if I can't continue to work etc ). So, really, thank you!

Okay, let's jump right into the games.

Like last week, I made some very good progress on this "day" of the prequel. There are also a few changes I made to the house where the MC, Sabrina and Bethany are staying in ( since Jessica is on a school trip ). I noticed that the asset in general is good, but I kinda feel the same about it like I do with the house in the main game - It was lacking a bit more personality and warmth. So, the house will receive a similar treatment with new wall colors, a bit more furniture and pictures and all of that fun stuff. Todays render is Sabrina in a supermarket though, where she is going with the MC to buy some groceries and snacks for the weekend. This is going to be one of those more emotional events with her where Sabrina will start to realise that her feelings might have shifted over the last few years to a direction that lead to what you know from the main game. It was a gradual progress and didn't happen over the course of one day, but since the other girls that they met together seem to have a big interest in the MC, Sabrina started to notice why they do and that she kinda has a similar view on him nowadays. Meanwhile the MC is going through the same, trying to brush these off because of the emotions he is developing for the other girls, but he as well is slowly realising that there might be more between them than they think. I think with this I can also tackle something that a few of you wonderful people didn't really "like" in the main game, that there wasn't a real buildup with Sabrina. It already "happened" and now you get the opportunity to see the way that lead to this.

I also was able to work on Chapter 4 some more, finishing the very long introduction event of Karla, Emily and Caroline. We learn a few things regarding the twins that will be very interesting down the road. What do you think is their view on the whole Yukiko situation, for example? Since the MC and Anna told them way earlier than they did with the other girls ( you remember how happy they all were back then, even though it has been so many years ). Emily on the other hand wasn't the biggest fan since they only told her and the other two gingers after Manny ( MCs father ) passed away. You will notice some similar patterns between Emily and Jessica, but not as extreme as the blonde devil, I think. Emily is just extremely emotional when it's about the MC and since the three of them were always kinda left out ( especially these last few years ) she felt even more left out. So this is also something the MC will have to get her out of, this mindset of being left out - But this is why they build the house right next to the house where the MC lives. It's going to be a lot of fun to have these characters be discovered by everyone and I honestly can't wait to see how much you'll like ( or maybe dislike ) the three gingers. People that have a certain faible for well developed bosoms will love them, though, I'm 100% sure of that.

Let's jump right into the games again!

As some of you may have noticed, the second prequel Beta is now available for all $5 and higher tier supporters. You can grab it from the Discord, like usual, or you can send me a message here and we'll figure something out. The second day already got a lot of positive feedback and I'm more confident now that I'm going in the right direction with this prequel. The next prequel release/beta is going to be even more important because ingame, the weekend will start and that means the MC has more time to spend with the girls... Or with one girl, if you the player decided to romance her. That is going to be very interesting once the prequel girls appear in the main game. I will have to find a way to make you, the player, decide if you romanced her in the prequel or not and then make the dialogues for each girl depending on that decision. Because even if you didn't romance any of them, they will still appear at some poin in time. Especially characters like Rei, Lea and Katharina will be very important for the main game, at least in later chapters. I'm already making good progress in terms of writing for the next prequel release and like I said in the Steam page post, there might be a demo for you to try out coming soon! Todays render is Rei and Amelie in their dorm room, having a nice chat with the MC ( happens on the 2nd day! )

The prequel was not the only thing I worked on, of course, because I really felt like I wanted to do more for Chapter 4 again. This is the good thing ( at least in my opinion ) when you work on two games ( or in my case three if you count MNF2 in ), when you have a bit of a writers block for the first one, you can switch over to the second one. I'm currently writing a wholesome event that involves Sabrina and the MC being alone. They will catch up on a lot of things that have happened in the past, not related to the prequel but more in general. With the MC having all of his memories back Sabrina felt like a huge burden was lifted off her shoulders. You probably remember how she acted in the hotel and later on, when the MC returned home as well. She wanted to do too many things at once, be there for her nieces, support her sister and mother, help her brother and of course deal with the trauma that the person who is like a true big sister to her was in a coma. The MC will think for a short moment that just because Anna is awake now, no one will recognize what Sabrina did for him and the others. She had to fill so many roles and that is something the MC appreciates a lot about her. I know I love to talk about Anna and that I want to include her in almost every scene I'm writing for chapter 4, but this will be a moment just for the MC and Sabrina. Once this event draws to it's end Sabrina will change a bit personality wise - At least regarding Karla, Caroline and Emily. She will not feel exactly like the MC, but it's moving into this direction, where she will fully recognise them as members of the family after all this time. Just an overall wholesome event.

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games I'd say!

As some of you may have noticed, I was able to release the second prequel beta for $15 and higher tier supporters. It's currently available to download on the Discord and like with the last prequel beta, it will become available for $5 at the end of this week, probably on sunday. The second prequel beta is a good bit longer than the first one, so I think there is a lot to play and experience for all you wonderful supporters!

I won't stop now though, of course, and I already started work on writing for the next day! If you remember, I'm going to do a short "skip", basically from tuesday to saturday if you count the ingame days, so the MC will enjoy his first weekend since he joined university. There is going to be some nice fun at a pool with some of the girls and if you decided to accept the romantic feelings the MC has for certain girls, you will also go on dates with those two cuties! The weekend usually means that the "gang" meets up and just spends time together. Now that they have two new friends joining their small group, it will be even better. The day is probably going to be even more packed than the second one because I also want to give Sabrina a longer event where she will be alone with the MC. This is going to be more on the emotional and wholesome side because they will talk about Anna and other things a lot. But they will also start to notice a few changes in their feelings, at least if you decide to go this way. I know that the "main" Part happens in the main game, so they are not going that far most likely, but I feel like showing that the MC and Sabrina love each other more than they realise will be something very cute to see. Just an overall classic "My New Memories" event, I think! Todays render is Bethany having a more serious talk with the MC in the living room.

Since the second prequel beta was done I also felt a big motivation boost to write more for Chapter 4. With a few things Lea mentioned on the second day I can subtly drop hints regarding her in the main game, since her introduction will come faster than others. I feel like having the prequel girls join the main cast at some point in time will be a very welcome surprise. I know that having too many girls in a game like this can get overwhelming, but I know that I can integrate someone like Lea and her mother seamlessly to the main cast as girls that will play more interesting roles in the main game. The focus will be on Karla, Caroline and Emily of course, and Anna will probably be involved in every event of Chapter 4 in one way or the other. Like I said a few times already, the fact that I can fully integrate her into the Story was something I anticipated since the first release of the game, so I can't wait to have her back and make more cute and wholesome renders with her.

Another week, another progress update!

I only have a small update regarding the case where I was the victim. The 4 culprits got sentenced to long jail times - One of them will be in jail for 6 years and 10 months, for example. This chapter can finally be closed for now, at least until the main culprit is caught in Thailand and brought to justice here. This was a huge relief for me mentally though, now I just have to wait until the case against me will finally be solved. German law works slow, though, but I'm prepared for the wait.

Now, let's talk about the games!

I'm happy to say that I'm around 80% done with the renders and that the next prequel beta will 100% be ready this week, most likely on Friday or even earlier. I know I said I wanted to release it on the weekend but I wasn't prepared for some of the scenes I have to render. This time it will be easier, though, since the hardest part will come today and after that it should be smooth sailing. I still think that the "lewd" event you have at night will be one of the funniest and most awkward things I ever did for my games, which will climax on the next "day" of the prequel, when the weekend starts ingame. Mentally I'm prepared that the prequel will be what I will be working on for the next few months, so the public release might be as soon as I'm done with the next ingame days, just so you guys have something to play already. After that I will most likely continue to work on it and make sure that things will make sense time wise. Currently I'm working on it like I worked on the main game, especially in terms of lewd content. You know me, I don't like to rush things, but I also don't want to blueball anyone, so it will be a tricky thing to do. I think I have it figured out though and like I said, the next "release" will probably contain the most lewd content of the prequel so far. Story will of course still be the focus and I hope I can provide enough of that to build a decent bridge until Chapter 4 can finally release. Todays render is a very angry Amelie. That will be the last time she will look like that at the MC though, so that is a relief, right?

So while the prequel stuff is rendering I returned to Chapter 4 and man...It's hard for me to put in the correct words to describe how much I miss some of these characters. Let's take Yukiko, for example. I have so many funny renders with her in mind that I just wanted to do for fun and because of these awful and untrue allegations, I can't put them out. That my files are being held hostage and that I almost feel physical pain because I can't access my characters is something I never thought I'd experience. But I'm not giving up, I'll continue to write content for Chapter 4. My creativity has been extremely high lately, mainly thanks to the prequel, so I have a super funny event planned with the twins and the MC. They're going to be alone with the MC and when no one is around, they tend to say the funniest things. Don't forget, they are around the age of Sarah, so younger than Jessica, for example. So there can be some funny dialogues where the MC will be the big brother and... Maybe more? Not directly like Manny, their father, but somewhat of a fatherly figure, especially since they know how he and Anna raise their daughters. You will also notice how different both of them are, one is more shy and the other is very outgoing when they are alone with the MC. I think I'm looking as much forward introducing them as I was with Anna waking up. Oh, and since I mentioned Yukiko above. Yukiko and the twins adore each other so much, they will have the funniest interaction, funnier than her and Lina are together.

Another week, another progress update!

There are some things I learned last week regarding my case, but nothing I can freely share publicily yet. Let's just say that a certain person investigating my stuff didn't find anything crypto related, but is now taking a look at my games. That's all I can say because you amazing people are not the only ones reading my posts. As you can imagine, I'm not worried at all because everything is public and legal anyway.

Okay, let's talk about the games!

I'm currently around 50 or 55% done with the renders for the second prequel beta, which means a release on the weekend might be possible. I'm getting them done faster than I thought because I had a lot of scenes already prepared, where I can replace the characters with different clothes and continue there. Like I said a few times already, this day will be as long as the first one and will end with a lewd scene in the night which is going to be hilarious. I pointed this out quite a few times now but I really feel like having the MC not be as experienced as he is in the main game really can make for some funny dialogues. It's very different compared to MNF as well, like I said, so having him AND the girl be totally inexperienced might remind some of you wholesome people about your first time being intimate with someone. At least it did for me. I've already prepared some stuff for the third prequel beta which might be a release candidate, I'm not 100% sure yet, because I feel like I want to expand more on the prequel but also don't want you guys to wait that much longer to give it a play. I can work on it like I did for the main game after all, at least as long as I dont have my assets back. What do you guys think? If you played the sequel beta already, don't hesitate to share your feedback with me regarding that by the way. Todays render shows Amelie and Jackie at the university. I think a lot of you are going to appreciate how fast Amelie ( And Rei ) will become part of the "circle" that is Sabrina, Lea, Jackie and the MC, who know each other since they were children. Especially Rei will be welcomed with very open arms and she appreciates it more than she shows initially - something she will tell the MC. This day is actually full of emotions as well, probably making you worry initially that you messed up with a decision but don't worry - I'm sticking to my principle where the top answer is the right answer. Trust me when I say everything will work out!

While the renders were rendering I also worked on Chapter 4 some more. My mood was a little dampened because it has been almost exactly a year since Chapter 3 released, probably the best game update I released so far. Not being able to continue on it right away and release something that might be even better really put a dent in my overall more positive mood lately, but I'm recovering from it. I'm still really enjoying the fact that I can integrate Anna way better into events now, even if she is going to be a little immobile for some of them. I also planned some interesting things with Sarah which might lead to a relaxing time in the Sauna with her, so she can blend out what happened before and just enjoy being fully herself again around the MC. His behavior in general will be way more confident now, which is a result of him having his memories back. There is not going to be much hesitation anymore when he re-lives some of his memories ( one of them even includes a prequel girl ). I feel like him and Anna are going to talk a lot about their past together because it's something the MC was completely missing these last few (ingame) weeks. This will also give you some more insight on the MC even if you are not going to play the prequel!

And I feel like thats it for now. Tomorrow might be the day where the four suspects will be sentenced already so I can close that chapter once and for all ( if not then there is going to be only one more day for it ). After that it's the waiting game for certain things that are already in motion, but I'm not worried too much. The main suspect will most likely stay in Thailand but will hopefully get caught with the international arrest warrant. He did some terrible shit besides the robbery, things that I don't even want to speak about because they are so awful. I will update you guys once I hear anything I can freely share.
