Another week, another progress update!

This one will be on the shorter side again because I was kinda enjoying the holidays a little with friends and I hope you guys did the same with your friends and family! I was still working on My New Family 2 of course, and I know I still owe you a post explaining what my plans are regarding My New Memories ( the main game ). The TL;DR will be that I'm going to remake the models - But I will not try to recreate them 1:1. I will explain everything in detail this week, where I will tell you what my exact plans will be. Todays render is Sabrina in the living room though, shortly after Bethany dropped the nuke and the MC finished his phone call with you-know-who.

I have very big plans for 2026 and I'm sure most of them will work out. The first release of My New Family 2, Chapter 4 release of My New Memories and of course Chapter 3 of My New Memories: The Beginning are all things I'm planning to do. I think I'm reaching a point where I will be happy with working on all my games again, after I had to mentally struggle a lot in 2025, because it has been over 2 years already since all of this stuff happened to me and there is basically no progress. Sadly, this is often the case in Germany, so I'll do my best and power through it with all the support you guys are giving me. I will make another post on December 31st probably, where I will take a little about the year in general.

And I feel like thats it for now, you amazing people. I know this progress update is a little shorter again and I hope you guys understand it with the holidays and stuff. Christmas is always a special time for me ( since my Birthday was on the 24th ), and even if Christmas 2023 was the worst in my life so far ( because of all the things that happened ) it has been slowly but surely getting better again. And the biggest reason is you amazing people out there, playing my games and supporting me. I'll update you guys if anything new comes up, until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

No progress update render today since I forgot to prepare one - I'm a stupid pelican after all. The good news is that I finally fully recovered from my man flu on thursday already and I have been able to work on a lot more since then. The progress update today will still be shorter, though, since I can't share most of it without spoiling some major things!

But there will be another update post coming this week where I will talk about the future of My New Memories. Don't worry, the game is not cancelled or anything, but I think I reached a point where I will make a decision that will most of you people happy - And me as well in the end, at least I hope so. It will be a longer post where I will explain why things were as they still are and what made me change how I think.

I've been steadily working on the first playable version of My New Family 2 and I'm thinking of doing the same line of work that I did for the My New Memories prequel. I will work on a playable demo that I will release for everyone ( supporters get access a little earlier ) where you can see what the game would look like in the engine I might end up using ( honey select 1 or 2 ). I will not disclose what I will end up using for this demo so you guys won't be able to be bias towards it. I know, that sounds kinda mean, but the good thing with doing it like that is if you guys blast me with "We hate these models" I can change it without losing too much time. Makes sense, right? And like I said a few times by now, I'm fine with using both.

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Christmas is just around the corner and of course I will post a Christmas themed render again once the day arrives! If I hear anything new regarding my case I'll let you guys know. Stay tuned regarding the update post I will make later this week ( most likely after Christmas ). Until then, stay awesome!

Another week, another progress update!

I don't have much to share sadly, since I got hit with the man flu last week and I've been basically being a little baby in bed ( if you are a man you know how it feels when you get the cold ). I was still writing some more for My New Family 2 and also for Chapter 4 of the main game, while working on some bugfixes for the prequel as well. I decided to make a render with Bethany today, the "old" Bethany from the main game, where she is at a nice looking pool with the MC. This might be something you see in a later chapter of My New Memories, where the MC and his family will go on a vacation!

I have been thinking a lot about the main game lately and while the next release will be My New Family 2, I still hope that sometime in early 2026, you guys also get to play Chapter 4 of My New Memories. Like I said a few times by now, the script is at like 70% completion already and all that will be left are the renders - Which will take time, but not as much as one might think ( especially since I will most likely upgrade to a second pc again soon ). It all depends on how things go in the following weeks where my lawyer prepared another, more serious proposal for the state attorney where a judge might get involved to look over my stuff. It all depends on how they view it in the end, but since My New Memories , My New Memories: The Beginning and My New Family are available on sites that have pretty strict rules regarding certain content, I'm confident they will come to the same conclusion. I mean, not everyone has to like what I do, but nothing is illegal in what I'm doing.

And I think thats it for now, people. Sorry for the super short progress update, I'm slowly recovering from the man flu ( I know I know, it's just a cold ), the symptoms started last wednesday so I think I'll be fully recovered on.. Another week, another progress update!

This one will be a rather short one since I took the time after last weeks Chapter 2 release of My New Memories: The Beginning to wind down a little after a rather stressful cycle in terms of writing and rendering. That doesn't mean I didn't do anything though of course, since I shifted over to My New Family 2 as you guys know. I'm in the process of preparing the first characters in Honey Select 2, the engine I might use for My New Family 2. Keep in mind, My New Family was released in 2019, during a time where a lot of Visual Novels started to use this engine. I know I created the beloved characters in Honey Select 1 but I'm hopeful that whatever I try to create in Honey Select 2 will make you people happy as well. Todays render is just Jackie from the prequel in the hotel room!

Since Lucy has been the fan favorite ever since the release ( she has the most reaction roles on Discord, for example ) I will start with her, like I announced a few times by now. Like I said several times by now as well, if you guys end up disliking Honey Select 2 too much, I don't mind continuing My New Family 2 in Honey Select 1 - The game would look like it did in the Christmas special. The pro's outweight the con's for me to work with HS2, though, since it constantly gets new mods ported over and its just technically more advanced ( which means better animations etc ). But yeah, this is something I will figure out this month and share it with you guys!

And I think thats it already. Sorry that there is not much else to share at the moment. If anything new comes up regarding my files I'll update you right away, of course. I'm figuring something out that will hopefully have a positive effect on the whole thing. Until then, stay awesome!

Another month, another week, another progress update!

This one will be a little shorter, I hope that is alright

Chapter 2 of My New Memories: The Beginning has finally released and so far what I gathered from comments is that most of you enjoyed what you got to play! Todays render shows Sabrina, just a few moments before the big reveal of Chapter 2. And then that ending...I wonder who is calling MC at this time, especially after he got these very shocking news from Bethany ( I know I know, it was very predictable ).

Now that Chapter 2 is out I will transition over to My New Family 2 while also considering making scenes with the recreated models. I kinda gave myself a new deadline in terms of getting a response from my lawyer and the state attorney, so once that passes, I will start using those recreated models to finish Chapter 4. There is no real worst case scenario here, if I get my stuff back ( and I will get it back ), I will have to remake all of those scenes with the original characters, which will take time but it's not the end of the world ( it's basically just load the scene, import the old models and use the same pose the new ones used ). But I will have more feedback regarding that soon. I will also start posting previews for My New Family 2 characters I'm working on, both in Honey Select 1 ( that you see in My New Family 1 ) and Honey Select 2 ( which I'm considering using for MNF2 ). I will most likely try to find someone who can port the house I use in honey select 1 to honey select 2 and see how that will work out - But I will have more news on that once it actually happens.

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Sorry that this is a rather short progress update but with the full release of chapter 2 being yesterday, there is not that much to share yet! Another week, another progress update!

The writing on Chapter 2 is fully done, all the animations are done and I'm now rendering the last few events to release Chapter 2. I don't have a set date yet, but it will be 100% this week, most likely towards the weekend for supporters and then a few days later for everyone else. If you were a supporter in october but decided to cancel your pledge, shoot me a message once Chapter 2 is done and I will message you the download link - Since the plan was to release it last month, not this month. I really hope the content you get to play and the events you get to experience will be worth the long wait, but you can be the judge of that. Todays render shows Lea again, blushing in her room, while her and the MC have a talk about some rather intimate topics. Lea is such an interesting character to me personally and I can't wait to hear your feedback regarding the big reveal at the end of chapter 2!

Like I mentioned last week, after Chapter 2 is out I will fully transition to My New Family 2. I personally would want to continue working on My New Memories, but since I still don't have my assets back and because I got a lot of requests to work on My New Family 2, I will be doing that. If, however, I will get my stuff back during the time I work on MNF2, I will finish Chapter 4 of the main game first, since I'm already like 70% done with writing there and only the renders and animations are missing. Still, I have something to show for regarding MNF2 soon, a character I have been working on in HS2. I will most likely make this a public choice in the end, if I should witch over too HS2 or HS1, but I think once you see how the HS2 versions of certain characters look you will most likely prefer the latter as well. Like I said a few times by now, please keep an open mind regarding things and don't shout "No hs2 please" until you at least saw one of the characters I made. After that it's fair play of course and you can tell me how much you hate it, haha.
