So this post is addressed to those of you interested in becoming a Beta Tester for Kana Sensei [Day 4]. Becoming a Beta Tester is available to everyone in the VIP Supporter Tier and the sign up form can be found here. However, if you are interested in becoming a Beta Tester please note all of the following:

While I try my best to ensure that the game is in a playable state. Please be aware that the Beta version Will Have Bugs! Beta Testers are the heroes who help me hunt them down! The purpose of the Beta Testing period is so that I have the chance to fix these bugs before the game is released. If you can't stand playing a buggy game, please wait for the Supporter Release or for the Public Release.

Roughly half of the spanking scenes will not have crying audio or voices ready in time since I have to wait on all the voice actresses I hired to deliver the recordings.

The game files and assets will be unoptimized and only partially compressed. Compression takes time to do right, so I save it for the Supporter Release. In short, this means that the Beta Tester Build (v0.5.x) may be chonky!

If you plan to beta test the Android build, please ensure that you are on at least Android 14+ or higher and have at least 4GB+ RAM. Also, please note that I may distribute Day 4 as a separate game due to Android app size limitations.

I may not include machine translations for Japanese and Chinese in the Beta Tester build (v0.5.0). The machine translations tend to cause a lot of issues in the Beta version. So English may be the only supported language at this time.

Hey Everyone!

So I figured that now would be a good time to address a couple of the question I get asked the most and explain the release workflow.

Q: When is Day 3 going to be released?
A: I still do not have an official release date set since there are things in the release workflow that are difficult to predict. With that said, I am hoping for a Supporter Release by the end of June or early July. The Public Release will be 4 weeks after the Supporter Release.

Q: Will there be a mobile release?
Apple iOS: There will likely never be an official Apple iOS release since this game would never be approved on the App Store and sideloading apps on a jailbroken iPhone is not something I want to pursue nor encourage.
Android: An Android release was on my low priority To-Do list. However, not all Android devices support .apk files larger than 2GBs which will become problematic later on as more content gets added into the game.

As an alternative, when time permits, I may instead look into writing up a guide where you could play the game via JoiPlay on Android since I have heard a lot good things about this option. The benefit of this is that I won't have to make an exclusive Android build and the quality of game assets will be the same compared to the PC version.

1) Beta Tester Sign Up: (2 weeks)
The Beta Tester Sign Up form is now open to all supporters in the VIP tier and will remain open for about 2 weeks.

2) Beta Testing Period: (2-4 weeks)
Includes the following:
+ Sending out Beta Tester copies of the game
+ Bug Fixes
+ Translations
+ Grammar corrections
+ Performance optimizations

This period is the hardest to estimate since the amount of bugs that may or may not be found is near impossible to predict. Additionally, I want to ensure that my volunteer translators have enough time to get the majority of the translations done since there are a lot more Japanese and Chinese speaking supporters supporting my work.

3) Supporter Early Access Release: (4 weeks)
Development of [Day 3] started in October 2022 and needless to say, it has been a very long development cycle compared to prior days due to amount of content I packed in (more than [Day 1 + Day 2] combined).

With that said, I owe this accomplishment to all my supporters since their financial support is how I am able to afford spending more time on the game as well as hiring a cast of 7 different JP Voice Actresses to voice some of the spanking scenes. So as thanks to all my supporters who helped fund this project, they will have exclusive early access for 4 weeks.

4) Public Release:
After the Supporter Early Access period is over, the game will officially be released to the public. The game is free, and always will be.
