What did you expect to happen, wandering out into the cold all alone looking so warm and cozy like that? Surely you knew you might attract something or someone looking to escape the coming winter; unless you’d hoped something like this might happen. She pounced like a predator, only not because she was fierce but simply because she was worried you’d run away if you saw her coming. You know lamia are cold blooded, struggling to keep temperature during the winter but, she thinks you might just be able to help her with that as she gives a gentle smile whilst her cold coils make themselves at home around her warm body. You could already feel your temperature dipping just from her frigid touch, but with every bit she stole from you she in turn would grow warmer and cozier to be embraced by… 

“Sorry.” Is one of the few things she’d say at first, revealing it wasn’t done out of malice but merely need. Gently petting your face and slithering up close, bosom hanging before you as quite the lovely sight to behold. 

“I’ll be gentle, I really… really appreciate this.” She’d mutter in the softest tone, growing ever closer as she took a deep breath, seeming to inhale not air but the very warmth from deep within your chest. With every breath she stole she’d grow warmer, coils tightening as if squeezing the heat from your body but as her own body grew hotter the heat would be drawn back into you through the coils and then she’d simply suck it back out in an endless and sweaty cycle. At first it felt dangerous, like she intended to steal all the warmth for herself and leave you for dead but… it grew to be more intimate than that, more comforting and acceptable. 

“Thank you…” She’d whisper as her arms slithered around your head and pulled you in close and balled up upon herself until not an ounce of you could be seen by the outside world. Her white coils camouflaged into the snowy tundra allowing her to keep you safe and sound for who knows how long just enjoying your warmth. 

Perhaps you’d knew this would happen, perhaps you hoped it would; whether it was expected or not one thing was certain that the lamia appreciated it most immensely…

Comm I did a little bit ago but thought it’d be a good way to kick off winter! The aim for this piece was to make something that appeared rather cold yet had a sense of comfort to it! I do hope you all enjoy this little POV piece, and that you have an A-Mei-Zing winter!
