The release version of v0.3.0 is here! There was no save breaking bug in the alpha and saves from the alpha can be used for the release version!
This version comes with a new feature. Due to file size constraints, I have split the game into two parts. Part 1 includes content from Day 1 to Day 15, and Part 2 contains everything from Day 16 onward. At the end of Day 15, the game prompts you to save, and this save file can then be loaded in Part 2.
If you’ve already installed and played the full version or the alpha of Version 0.3.0, don’t worry. All save files can be used in the split version! Saves from Day 1–15 are compatible with Part 1, and saves from Day 16 onward with Part 2. That means as soon as Version 0.3.1 of Part 2 is released, you can simply download it and continue your playthrough.
Now, just one final note: If you find any missing images, spelling errors or other things that don't seem right, please report them on the official Discord server!
But what does Alpha Version mean? The alpha version is for playtesting and I appreciate the help of anyone who tries it and reports any bugs, missing images or dialog/scenes that seem out of place based on custom settings (kink settings, choices etc.) I will then fix anything that comes up and release a stable version. If nothing major came up your saves of the alpha version will be usable in any future 0.3.x version of the game. However, if something gamebreaking comes up, they might not. Please keep that in mind when laying the alpha.
For new players I also recommend the alpha version over v0.2.23 because it contains all the changes and improvements and even though the saves might not be compatible moving forward, the saves of v0.2.23 are definitely not compatible.
Speaking about compatibility: Any saves of older versions (0.2.x) are NOT compatible with any 0.3.x version! The main reason for v0.3.0 was a game engine and programming language update as well as a complete overhaul of the source code and clean-up of the file structure.
Also one last thing: I know you are all waiting for the story to progress and new content going further, however, because I'm still working on said content but also want the refactoring to be tested, I will release the alpha version without any ongoing content. 0.3.0-alpha will therefore end where 0.2.23 ended. But while the alpha is tested for being bulletproof, I'm already working on that cool new content.
And of course the alpha contains the new and reworked scenes that were added in between existing content since v0.2.22. So, if you haven't played those scenes yet, there will be at least some new content.
Bonus Code: Get the code to unlock alternative renders in v0.3.0(-alpha) here! (Due to the nature of this update there are no new bonus renders compared to v0.2.23, just the existing ones of all prior updates. Because of that the bonus code will be the same for the full release of v0.3.0!)
