Shard of My Soul chapter 10
Kat's investigation into her sister's disappearance is gradually heating up, but so does everything in Kat's life...
Chapter 10 (aka version 1.9) of Shard of My Soul is ready! Friendly+ supporters can download it here. The public release will happen as planned on September 19 - download links will become accessible to everyone.
CHANGELOG
- 4 game days (days 34 to 37, Sunday to Wednesday),
- 4 new replayable erotic scenes,
- multiple new outfits (poll for chapter 10),
- 3 new achievements,
- improved Achievements and Extras (save disabled, return to the relevant screen),
- simple filters for Achievements and Gallery,
- new feature - Investigation board,
- new feature - Kat's closet,
- and as always, I found and fixed various small bugs in earlier chapters.
NEW FEATURE - filters
The Achievements and the Gallery menus felt a bit cluttered, so these filters might help. Not much to it, really:
NEW FEATURE - Investigation board
The Investigation board can serve to quickly remind you of the current state of Kat's investigation. It is probably more helpful than reading a wall of text in the Investigation menu. Check it out in the game menu (I won't put a preview here to avoid spoilers).
NEW FEATURE - Kat's closet
A small tool to see all Kat's outfits in one place. You can find it in the Extras menu.

PS: As usual, there is a password for supporters. This time, it unlocks the extended version of the erotic scene featuring Kat and two thugs (it also unlocks all bonus content in earlier chapters).
PPS: In the Chapter 10 poll, the outfit option won. I've created new outfits for Kat, Hanna, Theresa, and Lexie. The slight problem is that you might not see all of them during your chapter 10 playthrough - it depends on which path you take. But don't worry - after you finish chapter 10, just check the achievement 'Moving target'.
PPPS: I'm taking a vacation starting tomorrow, but I will return before the public release, so I will have a bit of time to fix any potential problems that might arise in the early access version. So if you happen to find any bug, please PM me or report it on my Discord. I might not be able to respond quickly, but I will look at it when I get back.

Dev notes - end of July 2024
The development of chapter 10 continues on pace to mid-September release. The main story is essentially done, now I'm finishing dialogs and working on images. The chapter will feature erotic scenes with Danny, Theresa... and then some (no more spoilers!).
I will also have a look at further optimization of game assets (especially audio files) so the size of the game stays reasonable.
