Not much to share this week, generally been in an awful mental state, but this was a cute quick doodle from awhile ago of my best friend's cat, drawn from memory. Figured people might enjoy her =3

Another SFW single-layer mouse painting in SAI. I've really been enjoying doing these.

The "rules" have generally been:
- No tablet, just mouse
- One layer only
- No selection / adjustment of already drawn things, if it's wrong it needs to be redrawn
- Only use the Fill tool and Brush tool (varying the size / blending as necessary)

I guess it feels a bit like doing pixel art, but on a large scale rather than a small one. The results tend to come out more "impressionistic" but that can be sorta nice in its own way.

"Every day, we clean the waters at the base of the Mausoleum, Every day, ichor spills forth from the casks up above, polluting it once more."

Believe it or not this somehow started as a mostly grayscale scene of a lighthouse and somehow completely changed by the time the "rough" version was done. Ended up spending more than than average getting it to the "Finished" product.

"Ah.... well. I only perform the Serenade for special fans."

Another SAI painting done with my mouse in about an hour. Wanted to include the comparison between the very first draft and the final product, 'cuz I think it's interesting just how much it changed it such a short time.
