First devlog of the new development cycle, so this one is free for everyone!!

I really wanted to come in and shout how great the production is going, but I messed up!
I was picking outfits and I landed on one I liked, so I removed all the others and just kept the one I needed. But somewhere along the line instead of deleting the skirt I hid it.

This would be fine, if not for a particular quirk of DAZ Studio: you see, when a character is not in frame I hide it to save resources, but when you un-hide it DAZ un-hides EVERYTHING. I didn't realize it and continued on my marry way, until this morning I saw that I had half the renders with MC wearing shorts and the other with MC wearing a skirt. So my Friday was spent fixing this mistake instead of progressing.

So yeah, I started working on Chapter 5 and, despite this hiccup that ate away a day of work, I'm already 100+ renders in with the next scene already set up and ready to be worked on.
The way this chapter is going to be structured is gonna make it... interesting to develop.
While Ch.4 was a chapter with a lot of variant scenes, Ch.5 is gonna be more like two parallel different chapters with some overlap, with the main story kicking into high gear, the Fight/Apology paths will almost split the game in two moving forward.

As I already said in the poll, which is still ongoing, so if you are a Roommate member or above go vote now, this chapter will focus on the girls that so far have yet to get the spotlight, those being Jessica, Rikako/Arisu (depending on the path you're on) and Janice (and to temper everyone's expectations, Janice is considered a side-LI and will not have her own solo ending, sorry).

My biggest fear is that the release will feel "short" compared to the other chapters, despite taking the same amount of work, due to the differences between the two main paths.

 
I'm gonna try to work as hard as I can to release an acceptable amount of content in a relatively acceptable amount of time, especially since in August I'm leaving for a week and a half for my first real vacation post covid. 
As usual I'll keep you all updated on the chapter's progress here every Friday.
And no, I did not forget about the cat episode, but I'd rather focus on the main game first.
