Update on FI@H v0.18

Hey folks, I really wanted my next post to be a release announcement, but as I'm heading into another busy weekend, I may have to wait at least another week, but I don't want to leave everyone in the dark.

Sadly my employment situation hasn't gotten much better. Freelance work has pretty much dried up since May. I've found two jobs outside of my field so my rent is taken care of for now, but I'm working 11-hour days. I thought I would be able to fit a writing schedule into my nights but working into the AM is getting tough at my age. Naturally, this has pushed back all of my stories, not just FI@H.

That said, I have been writing when I can, and I have a solid idea of the note I want to hit for v0.18. Things with Diane and Stacy are going to start heating up quickly, and Faith and Valerie won't be sitting idly by. The protagonist is going to face a personal crisis in the near future that will change all of his relationships.

I've also been exploring more ways to add more much-needed visuals to FI@H. I'm still far from being able to afford an artist, or from being good enough to do it on my own, but I've been working on other ways to build engagement beyond text. One idea I have, that might be retroactively added to earlier chapters and will definitely come into play in a later act, is a map of the Holmes house. For anyone who's been wondering, you finally get a look at where our tiny protagonist grew up!

(Obviously I am not an architect or a skilled 3D modeler but this is roughly the layout I've had in my head.)

Also, not sure if you readers noticed, but unlike other characters, Stacy has a hidden relationship score that changes her dialogue depending on how well you've charmed her in prior chapters. In the next update, you'll start to see the rewards for saying the right things to her, such as this:

"And wanna know an even bigger shecret?" She leans down until her glowing, flushed face takes up your entire vision and her boozy breath stings your nostrils. You could fit your hands inside the sharp dimples on her cheeks as she smiles widely. "I wanna fuck you too, Nate." She covers her mouth, giggling like a schoolgirl.

That revelation knocks you off your feet. You fall backwards, landing on the cushioned hotel bedsheet as Stacy's beaming face hovers over you like a full moon. "Y-you do?"

"Yep! Oopsie, I went and got a crush on my cute little n-----w" She giggles again, leaning up. Her hands drift along the edges of her leopard-print bra as she lifts her top at a tectonic pace. "It'll never happen. It's bad enough you did it with the girls. But it'sh fun to think of all the things we could do if your mother wasn't here. I could just pull my panties to the shide and shtuff you right in," she whispers, her hand venturing down to the gentle slope of her lower belly. "I bet you'd love it inshide an older woman like me. Deep in me, where it's wet and warm and tight. I'd make you forget all about your naughty s-----s and show you things you never imagined. I'd have you praying to my cervix like the goddess she is, begging her to let you into my hot little womb..."
