Besides some sketches and finished wips I plan to post here and there, my main focus for Substar will be finishing the two comics I have currently.
I'll be completing and posting comic work for the next two weeks! I'm deciding if I should post it all at once, or in batches when they're done. But either way I hope you folks are looking forward to them!
Also, It's been quite awhile since I last thanked everyone here for their ongoing support! I really wouldn't have been able to do even half of what I love if it wasn't for my fans (Yes I'm posting this everywhere because I truly mean it)!
With both cons behind us and my guest for the week has gone home, I am now ready to continue my projects here. Starting with "Dance with Me" with Blackfire and Robin! It's a comic short with 9 pages left to color. I'll be posting those parts starting tomorrow. After each small comic/project is finished for this month, I'll post another status post about what's next!
Also, I'll be working on my online store! I know a lot of folks have been asking about it and believe me I'm working on making sure everything is set and ready to go before I move forward. I'll be sure to keep you folks posted!
Thought it was high time to make a new status post! It feels like it's been too long since the last one.
First, I want to thank everyone who took the time to fill out the survey! I plan to write more about the feedback in a separate post. For now I want to give everyone an update of what to expect the next coming weeks:
I'll be working on some short comics from now into the next month:
Power Play (69pgs Posted in batches)
Granny the former star (15pgs)
PG x Toyman (12pgs)
Pork'd Buns (pgs10?)
(This is of course does not include misc. single pieces, sketches, studies etc which I work on the side.)
There is one big take away from the feedback I want to take note. And that's posting more frequent updates, like wips and scheduled progress AND ACTUALLY STICKING TO MY PLANS! And not leaving my supporters in the dark and but keeping them in the know when I might fall behind. I'll be doing my best to plan ahead and update when I can, instead of sitting on projects.
I'll also be sure to keep on top of updating my trello boards! This is one of the many steps I'm taking to keep track of things more often. And of course, having fun with the projects and art I create and we enjoy!
An update on what's been missing and what's to come.
Apologies for the lack of posts here for the month of October. That's actually hard to say as I'd rather not just apologize but make up for it by creating and posting art on the regular. But it needed be said and acknowledged.
I'm not saying there wasn't anything that was done between the first of the month and now. The "Glasstober" challenge was something I loved doing and will continue until I finish all 31 drawings (with five left to go!) and then will be raffling off 10 to some lucky and hopefully happy active subs! I did several other works off subscribestar, as well.
But it's not enough, as I haven't lived up to my and I'm sure some of your expectations. I want to rectify that, and make up for the month. I'll be starting with the "I'll Stay Up As Long As I Have To!" comic. Expect to see that finished within the week. And then, hopefully, more comics to come.
May Status - What's in the Works! (And What's to COOM!)
Hey folks! Been a bit since I've done one of these so I think it's more than time for another! Here's
What's on deck/in the works currently!:
Full Comics (anything 16 or more pgs):
PG/Fisher: have the front/back covers and afterword to sketch, and then the inks/colors/letters! Expect the sketches next week. I'll then be posting the finished portions of the comic in batches over the coming weeks.
Short Comics (anything 3 or more pgs):
1. I'll Stay Up As Long As I Have To! ("There's a rumor that if you stay up long enough, a busty succubus will pay you a visit?!")
2. The Mother's Day Full-Body Workout Special (The local gym is having a fun mother-son bonding day special! Who doesn't love some mother-son bonding?)
3. Grandma Used To Be a Whore But Now She's My Own Personal Sex Slave (Granny used to do what?! Who wouldn't want to take advantage?) [The title and comic were also influenced by JAV titles!]
Animation:
Shego x Tweebs (time: 1 minute+): Hoping to have finished next week, but may take extra week depending on how things go with the short comics. Happy with how that one's coming out!
Upcoming and soon:
Full Comics:
The Promotion: this one is likely to start sometime next month, perhaps posted alongside the finished portions of the PG/Fisher comic.
Wedding Day: this one will follow The Promotion, perhaps in July, but we'll see.
(???) (time: 1 minute+): this one is a special surprise animation that's going up after Shego.
Special Treatment (time: 2 minutes+): Coming up after the "surprise" animation.
This will all be between the occasional illustration or strip that might come to mind or that I find in the discord's "Suggestions-Ideas" channel. (That's right! I check them out!)
I've also got some polls in mind and you'll see those super soon!
Hope you folks like what's in store and are excited for it as much as I am! I cannot thank you all enough for the support you've given me since the start of all this. It definitely has gone a way to helping me work on these projects and I'm hopeful I can continue to do so for a long time to come!
