Futa Quest development news #70

Development is well underway, and we've even managed to safely overcome the initial difficulties with the coder's mental health. (It's not as good as I'd like it to be, but some rest, medication, and of course your support has made significant progress, and that's nothing short of gratifying).
It's nice to finally get to a full, more relaxed development after that crazy level of stress and overwork.
The coder has started to add a large camp to the game, which will immediately contain several erotic events, and another much smaller, but no less important for the story.
For such a case even additional necessary objects of the environment were found, without which it will not be so cool.
We're thinking about implementing a more user-friendly kind of walkthrough that shows you where you are and what you need to do next to advance in the story.
This would be especially useful for people who do not want to play through the entire update right away, but want to come back after a break.
I, for my part, am fully focused on the new scenes for now, and when I finish another one, I will move on to different costumes and even nudity for the two characters in the dialogue scenes (in the standard, all the characters are always dressed, and I will have to undress them to correct this misunderstanding and finally reveal their seductive charms).
P.S.
Some people have accused us of using the neural network in drawing characters and other things.
The image above is a neural network of the highest quality we currently have.
You can clearly see how the AI works in our hands, and it does things so differently and with so many artifacts and other oddities that it'll be a long time before we can really use it.
So don't worry, all the content we have here is original.
All players will be the first to know if anything changes.

Futa Quest development news #69

It's been a while now, and we're ready to show everyone the plan for the next version.
As usual, we should start with the characters who will be present in one role or another.
Rachel, Lilith, Mei +Connie, Hannah, Sunny, Kate, and of course the continuation of classroom activities.
Considering the mistakes of the last version and the number of characters involved, we will definitely limit ourselves and not even try to produce the previous amount of content and scenes.
We're not making any predictions about the new suits, though. 
At least two are already in the plans (one of them is even drawn).

Another important and quite interesting information about the game that I want to share, but it will be difficult to do so because of spoilers.
Let's just say that in version 2.25 we want to add more of what everyone likes so much and what...
The coder has also planned a small chronological rework of 2.15 to better integrate new content into it and make it easier for players to get through.

P.S. Remember, there is a window of opportunity now that work on the new version is in its early stages and you can feel free to share your ideas for scenes with these characters.

Finally, after a long period of hard work, we can confidently say that we are almost there.

We will keep you guys updated.
At first we planned to try to create one of the secondary backgrounds for the scene using the StableDiffusion neural network, but as soon as we saw the results we decided to postpone it for a while.
So we can safely say that there is nothing in our game (except for a bush in the back line of the background, where we used the possibilities of mechanical drawing).
All the art remains the author's, and this is one of our and my personal goals for the future.
I would also like to inform you about the number of single images that will be added with version 2.15.
In 2.15 - 575 pieces, and in 2.05 - 377 pieces*. 
( A piece is not a complete scene, but the parts it consists of ). 
The calculation is quite rough and does not take into account the addition of emotions\arms\video, there are more of them in version 2.15.
That's the difference between the two versions.

I'm going to start with some good news, which is a little late for us, but it's here.
First some very good news.
The medication is helping the coder, and a few days off from all work has also helped him a lot. He sends a huge, just giant thank you to all the people who have written all sorts of encouraging words.
It's really worth it to feel that people in other cities/countries or even on other continents believe in you.
Second good news.
Since I have a little more time thanks to your understanding, I decided to thank everyone as much as I can. A rather important scene, which was planned as a conversation scene to reduce the amount of work I had to do, will get the right images and become even cooler.

The big news

We have important news to share with everyone.
Development of version 2.15 is in its final stages, but there are some details you need to know.
 
The upcoming part of the game proved to be a real test for our small team, not only as developers, but also as friends. Don't worry, there is nothing that can't be done! 
This refers to the release date of the test version, which should be four days from now, on the 30th. We hit deadlines and run out of time, the amount of content is too much for both of us.
 
In fact, this situation is entirely more my fault as the artist of the project. To make it clear to everyone, I will try to explain it.

I was the one who insisted on releasing the version by all means this month to please people and not delay the already long release. Although the coder was against it, I still insisted and now I regret it a lot. I realized it when, due to overwork, lack of proper rest for a long time, and the opportunity to be in the fresh air, I began to feel not well at all, not realizing how all this affected my friend.
 
With his consent, I share personal details of his life.
The coder has recently had some difficulties in the family, and from general fatigue it has developed into psychological problems, resulting in a panic attack. Those who know what it is are well aware of how it affects life and its quality. Now he has to take some pretty serious sedatives in small doses to keep the problem from getting worse.

Right now I just feel terrible and very guilty towards him and that's why I'm writing this, putting it all out there.
I'm really sorry, dude, that I didn't listen to you and we both got into this unpleasant situation, I'm sorry.
I also want to apologize to all players who should not be affected by such stories, and I apologize as sincerely as I can.
Forgive me, I let not only my friend down, but you as well.

When will version 2.15 be released?
It will take some time to get things in order and the release date will be rescheduled to April 10th.
You as a reader might have a legitimate question, if the delay is so small, why was it necessary to write about it at all, wouldn't it be better to just put it in another form, otherwise it might look like excuses for the sake of being pitied.

In fact, I wouldn't want to be pitied!
While it is normal for other developers to miss deadlines for various reasons, we feel serious remorse and a sense of betrayal to the players.
In this case, if you feel that we have let you down, you have every right to be angry with us and even more to never support us again, we understand.

Now let's get to the results:
I realized that I really screwed up over my friend and I'm going to work to make up for all the damage that was done.

As a team, we realized that we couldn't handle that much content on our own and needed to get back to much smaller updates as quickly as possible.
It's not only better for us as developers, but it's also fairer for players, who will have to wait less.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any changes.
