Personal Art: Concept - Kitsune no Yomeiri
There was once a fox that fell in love with a human soldier back in the days of the great war. They were very happy together and were set to be wed, but her husband to be was killed in a battle before he could return from the front shortly before their wedding day. She waited for him on that day, to no avail, until the news finally arrived. With it came the rain, pouring down from a clear sky.
She knows that his spirit is probably long passed on by now, but on the days when the rain pours down but does not darken the sky, she waits in the forest and reminisces, hoping to perhaps see his spirit on last time.
