Hi everyone!
I have got an important piece of news to share with you. As you all know, the prologue of the game has been completed and it's time for the protagonist to come into action. I have been keeping a detailed track of my game and its development time. In the beginning, I only used to make 200 renders for an update, while I slowly upgraded that to 300 and now 400 (presently), after I got access to a render farm. But I still feel like it's really not enough (small af) for the time I take to release an update.
So now, I have thought of changing this by first buying and setting up a workstation of my own which allows me to speed up the development and then focus on every detail carefully, which takes my game to newer heights.
This would mean:
But how am I going to arrange funds for the tech to achieve all of the above? :
What do you mean how? Of course, I'll ask you guys to pledge more!
Hehe, I'm just kidding. I have a SubscribeStar page opened not because I want donations or stuff but because I just want some moral (or monetary) support out of your true appreciation and good comments.
So basically, I ain't going to ask y'all (my supporters) to cover up the cost for me. It's my game. So I'll work for it ^
I have already taken the necessary steps and now I'm currently working as a 3D Artist. The primary reason behind it is, of course arranging the sum for the above-said but it's not just that. I'm liking my work and it interests/inspires me to work harder, better, and even more!
So... Am I putting the game progress on hold until further notice? :
No. Certainly not! I'll continue working on the development sideways with whatever tech I have got right now. However, I am a human and I also have certain responsibilities outside this which I cannot run away from. So... It is likely to get slower updates than usual. Life has good times and bad times. Everyone supports you in your good time, but only your true/loyal friends/supporters support you in your bad times. This isn't exactly a bad time for my game or me, yet... I seek your support on this.
Like I have always said... A 1000 subscribers or not even a single subscriber, doesn't matter to me as it won't stop me from continuing working on my game. Despite that, it's your decision :)
Thank you for all the love and support so far! ❤️
