Sketchpage # 2: A collection of simple things
It is now 9:23am, and I think I may be rustier than expected. These drawings are not good!
First attempt was to block out shapes. Blegh.
Second a more traditional approach, but to simplify shapes. Better.
Third focused on flowing lines, and I am pleasantly sattisfied.
Fourth is my favourite - based on a punk rock photo from the 80s, this has the most interesting results to me.
Overall, a success. These failiures make me realise three important things:
1. Colour experimentation excites me and energizes me
2. Need to figure out a better "black ink" brush setup
3. If I draw hands a lot simpler, they look a lot better
