My first, and current game in production, is Earth's Last Guardian.

The plot:
The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth that has been ravaged by a viral outbreak, this outbreak reduced the world’s population by 96 %.
Our protagonist is an average guy living a mundane life with his sister, go to work eat and, sleep, rinse and repeat day after day.
This all changes the day a strange letter appears in his bedroom informing him of his uncle’s death, and that he must now take up his family’s mantle and join an eternal war.
The game is mostly a sandbox, you chose what you want to do and who you want to build relations with.

I understand some of you may not wish to join the discord and I will try to accommodate these people, however as the game grows it will inevitably spread beyond this forum, once that happens it will be easier to maintain a record of bug fixes in a singular place (the discord).
Post any bugs you find in the discords bug channel.
Post any typos you find in the discord’s typo channel.

This project is being made mostly as a hobby, I am not a coder nor am I a writer, take that as you will and base your expectations on this being a hobby project.
Questions of this is good but can you add x, y or, z will mostly be ignored I have a direction in mind and a fixed view on what I want this game to be. If the game comes to a state where I am happy to maybe add things outside of this scope, then I may be open to suggestions when the time comes.

One keynote is that this game will always be free.
The Subscribestar is now up, any funds generated will be used to improve the game with custom art and audio. This does not mean however that if no funds are generated that development will stop, my intent is that the game will get finished regardless, the only difference will be an increase in quality of the final product.

Monthly progress update (8th April 2024)

Hi all, I know it’s been sometime since the last update was released and due to my illness in Jan/Feb and being back in hospital earlier this month I have decided to change the scheduled content for this update again. The next update will now be 0.1.3.5 (somewhere between 0.1.3 and 0.1.4), what this means is that I am testing and bug fixing the content that is complete for the planned 0.1.4 update and making a release for this content.

The update will be missing some of what is planned for 0.1.4, such as images for some of the events that are in the game (for example the sisters story events don’t have custom images yet, and so use a centred standing image). Some of the events are not written for the planned content, the sister and Chloe are missing event 5 and Zlata is missing event 4 and 5, these events are now required to progress their lewd events and as such will contain a “this event isn’t written” message and the relevant flags will be set so that the lewd content is still available. There are some other events that were planned but are not written yet, these will get pushed back into the next update which will now be 0.1.4.

I plan to get the testing and fixing done over the next few weeks and hope to have 0.1.3.5 released by the end of the month. But as always life happens and so I won’t say it will be released only that I hope it will be released.

Apologies for another split of the planned 0.1.4 content but I’d rather have a smaller release and get something out, than to delay the release any further.

Progress update.

I realise it’s been a while since my last update, but rest assured I am still working on the game.

After having been ill through January and early February I got little done during that period. I have finished and implemented 4/5 events for Chloe, 4/5 events for MCs sister and 3/5 events for Zlata, there is still a fair amount of work to do here but a good amount of progress has been made on the events.

I have also completed the work on the hints system for these three girls, it is now split into two sections one for hints about story progress and one for hints on intimacy progress.

Event progress does not require you to build intimate relations with a character, these events can also be unlocked by increasing friendship. Story events can be unlocked either through love or friendship, love is simple to increase through intimacy events.

Friendship can easily be increased, for Zlata it’s a case of completing quests to increase friendship, for now Chole and MCs sisters’ friendship can only be increased to the required level through purchasing cakes (their friendship cap for these gifts has been increased, there are plans for an alternative method but it’s not yet in the game).

There is still a good amount left to be done for this update, but I would say I am 75 % done with the content to be added, although a good round of bug testing will need to be done to test all of the changes and additions.

I apologise for this update taking so long, but as I keep saying life happens and we can only do what we can.

Monthly progress update (20-01-2024)

To start, it’s not good news.

After spending time with family over Christmas and new year, and then being ill for three weeks (still not fully over it), progress has been very slow. With this in mind I have split the panned update 0.2.0 into two parts.

Part 1 (0.1.4): This will include the vaginal and anal scenes for Chloe (these are done), it will also include the first portions of story for Chloe, Nicole (MCs sister) and, Zlata these story scenes will unlock progress through their intimacy events. As previously mentioned, the rough draft for these story events is done, so I just need to finalise them and add images.
It also includes a reworking of the sister’s events, showing location specific image sets for her intimacy events, only a few of these events have variation in the text for now, but over time the scenes will be re-written.
This portion of the update will also include some QoL stuff, including hover over text for the spell book and light and dark shops, along with a handful of bug fixes and other minor updates.

The main area left to complete for this are the story events.

Part 2 (0.2.0): This update will include the remaining intimacy events for Eilana along with the update to the intimacy system to use screens much like the quests screens.
It will also include the introduction to the rescued girls, which has again been pushed back. This area will include the ability to interact with the girls that have been rescued along with a new system that will help the girls feel like they are contributing and not just relying on the charity of others.
It will likely also include some minor QoL stuff and bug fixes.

I am sorry this update is delayed again but life happens, it’s why I don’t give fixed dates for updates.

Monthly progress update:

I will start by saying, it is highly unlikely that the next update will be finished this year. I am sorry I did try to get as much done as possible in an effort to have a Christmas(ish) release but looking at the current state of the update this is not going to happen. As with my previous updates things seem to start small but then end with almost every intended feature requiring other background work, these new added background things require more of there own background work and things spiral horribly.

I have completely restructured the file structure, any file that was more than 1000 lines or so long has been broken down into smaller files, some of this was done last month, this has continued into this month’s work.

The sisters renders for her new location dependant intimacy scenes are all done, I have tested these images and all are implemented and working correctly. These scenes do still need to be re-written with slight variations to make each seem unique.

Chloes vaginal scenes are done, renders and text are implemented, like the sisters re-worked scenes Chloe’s vaginal scenes are location dependant, with slight variations in text and image composition depending on where she is.

There has also been some work on the story for Chloe, Zlata and the MCs sister, the first of Chloes story events is in the game already with 4 more story related scenes still to be added. The first 5 story events for each of these characters has a rough draft and needs to be finalised and added to the game.

As with all my updates I don’t want to give a definitive release date, mostly because life happens, this is especially true at this time of year. I will continue to work on the game and get this update out as soon as I can, again sorry for the delay.

Hi Guys,
Monthly progress update (2023-11-17)

Half of the new scenes for Chloe are done, the main focus for this month has been re-organising the file structure along with creating location specific renders for the sister’s scenes. What does this mean? It means that the intimacy scenes for the MC sister will have images based on where she is for her scenes. It also required splitting the sister’s scenes into new blocks for each location, this means that going forward it will now be much easier to have variations in the text and flow of events depending on where she is. The file re-organisation will, hopefully, make it easier to find and fix bugs, it will also make it easier to focus future smaller updates on very specific areas of the game.

I did hope foe this next update to be a much faster turn around that previous updates, however the shear number of renders done and those still required for just the sister’s new scene structure means this update will likely take longer than I had planned. For the three locations that currently have a full set of renders is a total of 627 renders, there are nine locations in total, although the plan is that for some locations the event will move to a more secluded spot so that we don’t end up having full on sex in the middle the shop for example.

Hi all,
Monthly progress update,
0.1.3 is released. As with most of my releases expect bugs, I will try to fix them as fast as I can. Report then on the discord or F95 thread.

0.1.3 Tl;Dr
2 new scenes for Chloe
2 new scenes for Eilana
Re-worked quest system into screens as well as quests can be taken form all dungeon residents independently (meaning multiple quests for the same monster)
Introduction of Tempest the town guard
Re-worked the inventory: Separate pages for character stats, girl stats, inventory, and spell book all can be accessed from a new actions bar in the top right.
The girls screens have been re-worked, they now display hints on how to progress with them. When a new mechanic is introduced there are now introduction screens taking the player through what they are and how they are used.
Created a cheat module for those that dislike the grind.

I did try to get the content for the rescued girls released in this update, however it was just too much work. I did manage to get half of this done during these last couple of months and so I am confidant that it will be in the next release.
