In the past two weeks alone, I've made nearly 500 renders (485, to be precise). The majority of these are for Carnal Contract Season 1.

SOME THINGS I IMPROVED IN CARNAL CONTRACT
- Changed the beginning of the season with 4 additional scenes.
- To follow up on the story, there are a few more scenes with conversations after the test challenge. - For example, MC will meet Diane in a hall while going to her room to search for a dildo. - Christine and MC now have a different reason for their breakup. - MC didn't crash the car, so he is not in debt anymore. - Nicole will be exploring her sexuality as a virgin (I know you want this!) - Jasmine will not be left behind, and there will be a lewd scene with her - And many other scenes are extended with additional renders and dialogues.

Dev report #40 - Carnal Contract & I Have Known You

I'm sure you're interested in what I've been up to for the last two weeks, so here's a detailed report about the stuff I was doing.
It's split into two sections, one for Carnal Contract and another for I Have Known You.
Let's start with Carnal Contract.
Carnal Contract - News & Info
In the latest build of Carnal Contract, I implemented a review form asking for feedback, and more than 500 people filled out the form, giving me the feedback I needed.
There's a pattern regarding gaps in the story and some elements that don't make sense or don't seem realistic.
So, I decided to start adding additional content to the game to make it better and more complete.
Also, many of you mentioned that the LEWD scenes are somewhat short, so I've decided to make them last longer.
Regarding the ending, some of you requested a harem ending where you can be intimate with all three girls (Becky, Diane, & Nicole).
After putting the harem ending up for a vote, it's clear that you guys want it.

What Have I Done Last Week?
I've already created around 200 additional renders just for Episode 1, totaling 5 scenes. Next week, I will start making additional renders for Episode 2.

Originally, my plan included 1235 renders, but I've added new scenes to some paths, bringing the total to 1401 renders and 48 animations!
I've completed developing all scenes, and just 20 minutes ago, I finished incorporating the music into the game. Some new songs will be included in the next build :)

THE PROGRESS OF OUR MC Our MC has undergone substantial development since the game's beginning, mirroring the game's evolution.
Don't forget that this game is also about the main character's development. From an irresponsible young guy, he's becoming more and more mature. He cares for and fights for the people around him, something he didn't do in the beginning.
In E6, we witnessed a more mature and courageous side of him, fostering stronger connections with other characters.
For E7, I've aimed to upgrade not only his mental state but also his physical transformation, emphasising more prominent muscles and a stronger physique.

He is doing gym sessions in almost every episode, and he should be showing some progress in that area too.
A GLIMPSE INTO MY WORKDAY
I wanted to give you a peek behind the scenes to see the game's creation process before it comes to life in RenPy.
Using Daz3d, I craft renders by placing characters in diverse environments and scenarios, aligning them with the story I've written in Celtx, an online script editor.
This allows me to create various situations and character poses required for the game. Below, you can view the work-in-progress render and the final, rendered version ready for integration into the game as well as how the story looks like in Celtx.

In addition, I've dedicated time to enriching the auditory experience by incorporating more immersive sound elements into the game.

How is Episode 6 progressing? Things are progressing well, most of the renders are nearly complete. However, the animations might pose a challenge due to the limited time frame. I'm uncertain about the duration required for their rendering.
There's a possibility that we might have to postpone the release by an additional week if rendering takes longer than anticipated. I'll keep you updated on any changes.
GUI update As mentioned in my previous report, I'm enhancing the game's UI to elevate your playing experience. You deserve the best quality. While I'm still struggling with some coding issues, I've provided screenshots for you to compare the current and previous designs.

Main screen NEW GUI The new screen is more streamlined and user-friendly than the last one. I'm planning to incorporate the Gallery into the main menu. Please note, the main image you see is just a placeholder, I'll be creating a distinct one for it soon.

Preference screen NEW GUI The updated preference screen offers more options and have a more professional appearance compared to the previous one. While the last screen was the default from Ren'Py, this new version provides enhanced game control and aligns better with our brand colors.

Load screen NEW GUI The updated load and save screens now align better with our branding and have a more professional look compared to the previous versions. It's a similar improvement to what we achieved with the settings screen. I hope you'll appreciate the enhancements! :)
