With us moving on from SFM to Blender, I've been trying all sorts of crazy things to save time on renders. So far, the results have been pretty phenomenal. My only irritation with this particular video was actually on the non-VR version. There was an unusual amount of noise compared to KisX's original version, which I just didn't understand. I'm still working out what caused it, but honestly if someone is watching this and says, "Whoa, why is there noise there?", then they're not here for right reasons. lol
That said, as long as their isn't accidental noise in the actual VR shots, I'm happy.
It's great to be working with KisX again. We kinda drifted away from their work in SFM, as it was pretty amazing work but very short for the demand we'd received. Their organization and skills make for some amazing scenes, and I'm a nut for their lighting setups. They're one of the few artists I've worked with where I'll almost always use their default lighting in VR, because it's just so good. I only wish I could have gotten ahold of more of the scene build extras they used, but it wasn't shareable and thus unavailable. Still a beautiful scene in VR.

Curing the Couch Potato
"Half past noon, and you haven't gotten up off the couch. You slept here too. It's just really comfy. Mercy, that sweetheart, she's teasing that you need to get up and go get a job. Nah. But Mercy will do what she needs to get you moving."
I had planned on releasing this yesterday but got caught up in work. The latest Blender release I'm working on is taking all week long, and coupling that with the Major Studio Release starring Elastigirl finally getting in my lap, I've been swamped.
I really wanted to send out between 5-8 animations for Halloween but with how long render times are I'll be lucky if I can do just 3-4. I'm actually being LIMITED by render times! But its out of my hands, so I'll keep trudging along. Hopefully someday we'll be able to afford a second Blender computer, and then I'll effectively double my release schedule. Or at the very least, be able to work on small animations while long ones like the current project can render.

Forgot your Swimming Trunks
"Oops. The women reminded you to bring your swimming trunks like eight times yesterday. Lol men. It's alright, though. Mercy and Tracer are down to pool with you anyway, and who knows what might transpire afterwards."
Animation by Bewyx, sound by Volkor, and the voice-acting was a collaboration by CottontailVA and BritishKassVA.
It was pretty exciting to finally work with Bewyx on some of their work. Not only are they a talented artist, but they come up with some pretty interesting situations.
