Yuki was excited.

She had finally gotten enough cash to convince a friend to get her a spot at the Hostage Hotel.

The rooms weren't cheap but the service was top notch. Leaps and bounds better than any other hotel. The reviews had always been glowing, and she couldn't wait to see what awaited her as she stepped into the lobby…

Which looked like the average hotel lobby.

"Huh." She would look around, pulling her bag along as she went up to the front desk. No one in sight at the moment. In fact, the whole place seemed a bit empty.

"...Hello? Anyone there?" She called, leaning over the counter to peer behind a wall. Nothing. Nobody. Not a trace of anyone right now.

Had she been given the right time?

Check in hours were right NOW, right?

She looked at her confirmation email on her phone, squinting. No, the hours were right. Or at least they had been when she printed them…

BANG!

Yuki jumped as a doe panted and gasped, bursting through a backdoor. She leaned on a wall, one arm bracing against it and the other holding a knee. The doe looked frazzled but otherwise normal… she coughed and shook herself off, shaking some weird black goo off her leg and primped herself before straightening up and approaching the counter.

"Hello! I am so terribly sorry about that, we were in the middle of an all hands meeting." The doe said, smiling sweetly. "One of the demonstrations ran a bit long and I could only just get away long enough to attend to you! How may I help you, miss?"

"Uh… are you okay?" Yuki asked, looking her over. The doe was straightening up her clothes, fixing her silk scarf and smoothing her fur with gloved hands. "You look a lil uh… rumpled."

"Oh, yes I had just volunteered for the demonstration and time got away from us all." She slid behind the counter, leaving a couple of puddles of the same goop on the floor. "Did you need to check in?"

"...yeah uh… is this normal around here? Where is everyone?" The wolf persisted, pushing a bit more.

"Oh, not really. I'm sure most guests are partaking in our End of Summer Splashpad party."

"Splashpad? I thought this was an adult only hotel, uh…" Yuki leaned in to read her nametag. "...Dotty."

"Oh! It is. We just use it so that no one falls in the pool and drowns! That costs extra." Dotty giggled. "Besides, it's so much easier to hose down a splashpad than it is to drain and wash up a pool!"

"...yknow. That actually makes a lot of sense. Do you give out those grippy poolside sandals I've been hearing about online?" She asked, tail wagging.

"Even better. We have them in your rooms, complimentary. Let me get you checked in and you can see for yourself." Dotty said, typing away at her desktop and getting Yuki her room key. "If you hurry, you can join everyone and get some free drinks. Let 'em know Dotty said you can have something nice." She says, beaming at the wolf.

"Wow! Uh… thanks, Dotty. That's…really cool of you." Yuki grinned back, ears flattening in embarrassment.

"Dotty, can you get back in here and help?" The pair looked up to see a mule pulling at a tentacle, which was wrapped around him and trying to pull him back into the room.

"Oh! Yes of course! Sorry dearie, I'll see you later!" Dotty yelped, as she went to help free her coworker… only for them both to get dragged back into the back room with a yell.

And just like that, the lobby was silent again.

"....Huh." Yuki held onto her key, scanning the room and heading towards the elevators… this hotel sure was… something. But hey! Party in the splash pad area! And she might be able to score some free drinks and snacks.

She headed up to her room, and unlocked the door…the heavy door would creak slightly as she pulled it open…

And was immediately grabbed and dragged in a tentacle.

She yelped, as she was yanked inside, leaving her bag behind as the door was slammed and locked.

The room was full of… something. Black gooey tentacles were resting inside the room, lounging all over the furniture, festooned on the hanging lamps, snaking up the walls and coming out of the vents… the one holding her was dragging her deeper into the mass, coiling around her.

Yuki's initial shock dissipated, and the struggle began.

She yelled and tried to claw her way back to the door, eyes wide as she grasped as something, anything that could give her leverage… her claws dug into the walls, the floor, but the tentacle still pulled her deeper into her room…

"H-HELP! SOMEONE! THIS THING'S GOT ME!!" She screamed, banging on the walls to try and get someone's attention… all for naught as the thick tendril coiled around her legs. It corkscrewed up her body, squeezing her all the tighter when it got to her chest. The air was pushed from her chest, making her gasp… it massaged and squeezed her as it made its way up, working the air from her insides…

Soon, she was wrapped up to her neck, eyes wide as her muzzle hung open. Yuki gasped and moaned, trying to keep air coming in. But the tip of the tentacle hung before her, giving her a moment to realize its intentions before it slid down her throat.

"GHHMGH! GHLK…!" She was forced to swallow, the thick gooey tendril sliding down her throat. It would pulse and nestle into her, keeping her unable to breathe, unable to call for help, and barely able to move… "ghlk… llk… mlhk…" she was made to lick and suck on it, as it dragged her into the heart of the mass…the tentacles would be sure to take care of her during her stay, and perhaps even longer if she so chose.

One thin tentacle slid under the door, hanging up the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of the room, slipping back in to continue its work on its new resident…
