Update 2nd of August, 2026


Hello my Friends.
Sorry for the delay, but hell continues. (Sorry, a lot of personal crap again.)
TLDR: Things sucked ass, and I didn’t get shit done on the visual novel.
 
More Stupid Life Shit
I decided to go on vacation, and I told everyone that was what I was doing, and didn’t ask. I am very glad I did since it probably saved my sanity.
But after I came back, I was back into all of the shit. I came close to quitting, and maybe I should have, but instead I have put in to cut half of my days. I will test out how that works out before quitting, assuming I don’t just quit when I get pissed off too much.
I would quit, but if I find I made a mistake, they will take me back, but with a big cut in pay, and honestly it won’t be worth it. 
But I am currently putting together a plan to decide how I will continue my work life. I may end up slowing down my debt payoff, and have a little more free time. Both my sanity, and my visual novel will benefit.
** Update**
After writing the above, I didn’t have time to post it, and went to work. Then got pissed enough to quit my job. Short term high stress, long term lower stress with possibly more free time.

Update 17th of June, 2026

Hello my Friends.
Apologize for being 2 weeks late.
I also have to apologize for barely getting anything done on the visual novel. Right now I am going through a few things.
My main job had a major shakeup. And nobody is happy about it. We already lost 3 people, and 2 more are thinking of quitting. I am seriously thinking of joining them. 
I am working more, and making less money. And I am leaving every day pissed off, and drained. 
I am trying my best not to write more personal crap, since everyone is just interested in the visual novel, and when the next update will finally be done.
Right now I am deciding on which of the choices I want to make, but regardless of which one I choose, I will be cutting out hours at my main job, if not quitting. (Or getting fired depending on how upset I get.)
I will attempt to get back on track soon.

Update 14th of May, 2026


Hello my Friends.
Now a week late. 
Horrible month. Got only a tiny amount done.
And my CPU cooler went out. I picked up a replacement, and found out it was the wrong one, and had to go back to replace it. 
Then my keyboard crapped out on me. At least I had old backup keyboards, so it wasn’t as much of an issue. 
But other than that, I have been pulled into working “overtime”. That’s a combination of good and bad. I am seriously getting burned out from all the work, but our financial situation is finally starting to move in the right direction again. I just don’t have time to do anything, and right now I have half a day off each week, and I just want to veg out. 
I can’t blame anyone else, because I agreed to it, and I have the option of quitting the overtime as long as I give enough notice. 
And again going off topic. 
I am really slowed down, and might not get back to it for a couple weeks. But I will be back to working on it again.

Update 5th of April, 2026


Hello my Friends.
Sorry, 4 days late. 
But the last month was better than the previous months. Maybe that isn’t saying anything, but I am getting closer. I had the best month I have had in a while. But still way too slow.
My hope is that April will be even better. I had both more images produced, and I was able to recycle images. 
The next set of images will be a little more work. Sorry but still won’t be done by the next update. I am thinking of taking a whole day off and spending it glued to my computer.
 
Other Crap
On the personal stuff that you might want to ignore if not interested, just quick notes.
The last half of last year was horrible, and the beginning of this year were horrible. Our debt is higher than it was in July of last year, and that is moving backwards. We are finally back on track, but losing almost an entire year of work is bad. 
As far as my health. I am fully recovered. (I believe.) Wish that was true for my partner, but hers is for life.
Anyway if things stay on track for the rest of the year, we will be in a much better position. Unfortunately a position we should have been in 2 years ago.

I started writing this on the 4th, I swear
Hello my Friends.
This month was more productive than the last, but that isn’t saying much. My production should be improving. I mean things won’t be perfect, but I should be able to get a little more time freed up.
Other Crap
I lost one of my “jobs” for 2 months. Worst part of that is it was my best paying one, though I was limited on how much I could make in a week. So I replaced it with more work at one of my other jobs. 
Beyond that the good news were have been waiting for finally hit, so going forward (next month) we should see a change that will improve our finances.
