✨ Just Another Progress update ✨
Heyo all!
Time for another juicy progress update.
The Dungeon Defense Battle System is finally finished! 🎉
It still needs some polishing (and a few more images), but the core mechanics are now complete and fully functional.
I also added another system, one that was originally planned for a later release, but I decided to include a simplified version now to give you more variety during night activities.
We’ll go through things one by one.
⚔️ Dungeon Defense
Every afternoon, your dungeon will be attacked.
You can also trigger attacks manually anytime between morning and noon if you want to test your strength.
Your dungeon wall currently has 100 HP, but it’ll be upgradeable in future updates.
The defense will also become upgradeable later, but for now, it scales directly with your party’s combat stats.
That means the stronger your 7 party members get, the stronger your walls become.
Then we have Eros, which I explained in yesterday’s post, this represents your dungeon’s attack power.
Enemies have a certain Lust threshold they need to reach for you to win.
Each round, they attack your walls and take damage based on their attack versus your defense.
đź’Ą Combat Flow
For now, the battles use basic attacks only, so you’ll probably know the outcome before the fight even starts.
However, I’ll be adding skills and unique abilities in future updates to make these battles more dynamic and strategic.
During battles, your main cast will, well… use their charm to raise enemy Lust.
In the config menu, you can even choose which assets you want to see during the fights.
🏆 Rewards & Consequences
Winning rewards you based on performance. If you lose, there’s no game over, but no rewards either.
Rewards can be spent to upgrade your dungeon, and after each victory, you’ll capture prisoners from the attacking race.
Right now, there’s only one race, but more will be added later.
Each prisoner gets a random name and gender, to make them more memorable.
đź’— Prison System
Every day your prisoners stay in the dungeon, they gain Love, depending on how upgraded your prison is.
Once they reach 10 Love, you can recruit them to populate your city, and they’ll start increasing your resource production.
You can also speed up the process by visiting them during night activities, spending time with them, showing affection, or… being a little more intimate.
For now, that includes small gestures like hugs, kisses, or foot massages.
Kinkier options will unlock in future chapters.
At the moment, only the MC and Nimeria can “play” with them, but in future updates, other characters will be able to join in too.
