Mekkainoid Rising V Alpha 0.1:

Hey everyone! The very first alpha of Mekkainoid Rising is coming out now for Rimworld 1.6! The download is available on Discord to Alpha Donors, but the full mod will be available to the public for free when it's ready. Alpha Donors simply get access to the fun toys before the mod's ready for release!

Here's what we've got so far:

New Mekkainoids: Handmaid, Pawn, Warden, Regulator, Scholar, Reaver, Caretaker, Conductor, Mimic.
- Nonfunctional Mekkainoid: Overseer.
- New Structures: Mekkainoid Vanogenerator, Mekkainoid Charger, Mekkainoid Flare Shield, Echo Fragmenter, Mekkainoid Synthesizer.
- New Feature: Infiltration via Mimics. Send a Mimic to a settlement alone to get the Infiltration prompt. You may then use the Mimic to sneak around and attempt to turn the locals to your cause by building trust with them. Don't do anything suspicious and stay in their view while in a proper disguise to build Trust.
- New Feature: Subcore Echoes. Subcores of Standard or higher quality now produce Echoes, which are almost fully-simulated digital pawns with their own moods and corruption which is gained from the Subcore taking damage or their installed mech dying with them inside. Echoes can be applied to Mekkainoids by installing them manually.

- Mod Compatibility: WVC Work Modes - Mekkainoids will use Idle Spots and work types from the mod, and will respond to tasks faster than vanilla mechs.
- Mod Compatibility: Vanilla Expanded - Persona Subcores create composite Echoes from the four pawns that are scanned in the Subcore Polyanalyzer. In addition, Androids are valid hosts for Echoes, are crafted with Basic Subcores by default, and will never Awaken unless an Echo is installed, Unawakening when the Echo is removed.
