Sorry for not having posted an update lately, but as most of you can imagine there hasn't been much to post about. Game is most definitely still being worked on, but I haven't been able to give it the attention I'd like to. I honestly considered putting it on hold status even though there is slow progress, but I think that would do more damage than good as far as maintaining interest.

I can promise you that anyone who has contributed since last release who needs/needed to step back from supporting for any reason will see a private message from me for the update when it is released.

As for the why of the delays... I don't like to lean into the sad excuses that life throws at us, but the summary was besides the rebuild of our home our family lost last year that is finally nearly done (and has been an ordeal), we were also looking after my mother, who sadly passed from pancreatic cancer in late April.

While that is/was impactful to me to say the least, I'm a grown man who has lost a parent and loved ones before and it didn't keep me from being functional, but the time involved to take care of her, her final wishes, finances, etc, all was on me as well and time is a luxury none of us have in abundance.

The majority of that trouble has mostly been handled now, but when it rains it pours. I had made some efforts to work on my own personal health and ended up making it worse by re-herniating a disc in my back Friday (an experience I went through almost 15 years ago now... probably the same disc). When you feel that pop in your back once in your life, well, you know when it happens again.

Anyway, not looking forward to dealing with that or the impending move, but life trudges on and I'm looking forward to it calming the heck down so I can work on my game! In the meantime if anyone had any questions for me about the game that I can answer without giving away the major plot points, feel free to ask!

Just a quicky update. Writing has progressed quite well, but not the rendering. I've been more busy during the day than usual lately, so aiming to release the next update in March. In the meantime, here is Bobbie who is quite happy to see you awake again... especially for those on her romantic path.

General progress update: Writing for Episode 2 / Arc 2 is going well, though I’m running a bit behind on rendering. The delay is for a good reason, though. As many of you who’ve been following for a while know, our family went through a severe house fire around this time last year. The good news is that our new home is finally nearing completion!
