I just wanted to apologise for the lack of involvement lately. As many of you know, October is an incredibly busy month for me IRL, and coupled with the seasonals, it makes for a difficult time for me to even exist in a social setting every year. It sucks, since Halloween is my favourite holiday, but alas, it do be what it do be. I do not control the noggin, I just try and roll with it.
Some work has been done, but not as much as I would have liked. But I will persevere as I always do, and hopefully the head place will get over itself soon.
Anywhore, I hope you enjoy this year's renders! I particularly enjoyed making Rose's costume, although the cats were fun as well.
It’s still a scary and trying time in the NSFW game development scene, that hasn’t gone away, and it's not likely to any time soon. Since I’m not dependent on the income from Detached to make a living, and a lot of devs that I’ve gotten to know very well since starting this journey very much do, I decided to jump into a bundle outside of the usual circle to test the waters as it were.
If I take a hit, then it’s whatever. I’m still making the game because I want to, and I’ve been super clear from the start that this is ultimately a hobby for me. The monetary support I’ve gotten from all of you is always super appreciated, but I’m not going to hurt if that’s taken away from me by the payment processors. None of that isn’t going to change.
However, for the devs that I consider friends now, that isn’t a luxury that they always have. Many of them need the income, whether it’s their main source, or it’s just to make ends meet. These good people have taken a hit in general, from being shadow banned, delisted, or outright having their games banned and pages removed. They’re hesitant to even reach out of Itch support for anything in case that brings unwanted attention to them.
They can’t take the risk by putting themselves out there to see what the climate regarding all of this is like, but I absolutely can for them.
I’ve joined up with 41 other NSFW devs, most of them new faces, in the Keep NSFW Alive bundle, offering 50 games for $20.
While most of the games in this bundle are free, myself, and 7 other devs have thrown in 8 paid games (in my case, Detached Early Access), for a total of 66% off. All of us, especially the devs with free games, receive a share in this.
We all are around to do this bundle because Itch has deemed us ‘safe’. ‘Safe’ isn’t what I would call walking around on eggshells while hoping to avoid being a part of the next wave of moral bans by not being seen. That is not all right.
Even if you can’t, or don’t want to support the bundle monetarily, a simple share with some words of support would be super appreciated.

Sex work has always been regarded as something less because it's not the usual 'grind'. As far as I'm concerned, all work is selling your body, and your time. How you choose to sell yourself should be up to you, not up to governments, corporations, and shareholders.
This petition is important outside of stuff like Onlyfans and Fansly as well, as it also affects game devs. Adult game devs, in particular.
Sites like Patreon and PayPal, and even Itch and SubscribeStar, have increasingly strict policies regarding adult content, which are in line with the policies of the payment services that they use in order to handle payouts and payments. Some devs have had their games taken down or accounts removed due to these archaic policies, making it harder for them to earn from the projects they're working hard on.
This will, and does have a negative impact on all devs in this particular genre of game development, stigmatising and discouraging creativity and self-expression in art.
Please consider signing, as this is one the bigger hurdles in the aforementioned creativity and self-expression, and sex work as a whole. The two are not mutually exclusive, and this a problem in the adult content space in general.
