Hey everyone, Just wanted to give a quick update and also say sorry that the new release isn’t out yet. Today ended up being one of those days where everything took longer than expected and I didn’t get as much done as I’d hoped.
That said, progress is still strong. The script is now sitting at 50,607 words, and I’ve only got around four or five more renders to finish. The final three scenes are already rendered, but I need to do some reshuffling due to outfit changes and how I saved the images. (Past me really needs a word with current me on file naming...)
The good news? There’s genuinely not a lot left to finish, and I’m fully expecting to have the game ready by this weekend. But I also don’t want to rush it or half-arse the script just to hit a self-imposed deadline. You all deserve better than that.
Thanks again for your patience and support. I know waiting sucks, but I promise the wait will be worth it.
Just a quick update to let you know things are still moving forward — I’m continuing work on the renders and making steady progress behind the scenes.
Starting Wednesday next week, I’ll have some proper time off from the day job, and (bonus!) the wife’s off on a girls’ trip — which means it’s just me, the PC, and a lot of uninterrupted rendering time. So expect things to pick up a bit over the next week or two as I knuckle down!
