Holiday Break, It Seems Like

So, I've had to come to the family home for the holidays, which - while very cozy - is very small and has thin walls. As such it's been very, very difficult to find an opening to record much of anything, and so I'm likely going to be more or less taking a break for december.

I'll continue writing scripts and brainstorming, and when I come back, I'll likely structure things in the way of, I'll publish files when I think they're the best quality they can be, and I'll have the tier rewards be access to exclusive files or the like, rather than the "get things early" model I'm doing now. I think it's important to give yall the best work I can, and I think currently that isnt what ive been doing.

Thanks for bearing with me through the restructuring of stuff, all yall who have - it means a lot. Stay warm out there, friends of yuri, and keep those minds malleable for when we meet next ^

Upload Schedule Changes

Ok, so I've realized that the "do one file every 2 weeks" model is having some significant downsides. - I wind up having to rush files out the door when they aren't really very much... done, and don't have time for detailed audio mastering or editing - I tend to leave things to the last minute, so having the set time between audios typically leads to me having a hard time self-motivating - Life Events! recently i had a whole damn, scientific conference, and i spent a full 12 hours navigating an airport on the day i usually do my writing. so i could not possibly put out a file this week, and i was expecting to be able to, but instead everything was just an entire clusterfuck all week.

but also, my current monetization structure relies on the whole idea of getting files early. so im going to likely rework that; maybe bonus versions of files that are exclusive to here, or entirely substar-exclusive files, but taking the time to put more effort and time into my overall content to improve its quality.

this is kind of happening on the backend, but i wanted to be transparent about it, because it marks a pretty big shift to what exactly yall are getting out of subscribing - ill still do early files here, and probably even additional perks, but it wont be with the same upload schedule, which i think is a pretty substantial shift that warrants letting you know.

also, sorry about the lack of upload this week. ill post really hot pictures to make up for it, write up a new script, and do my best to get an audio out (but also its thanksgiving break coming up, and i have to stay at my family home, and wow is it hard to find a place to record here, so it might be when i get back).

i apologize sincerely for any confusion or annoyance at this, and i understand 100% if anyone here wants to unsubscribe while i get this all sorted - i do hope, though, that if you do so, youll consider coming back in a bit to see where we're at ^

ok nevermind i was able to record it but the only opportunity i had to do so was in a room with horrible sound quality, so my apologies for the footstep noises and such. it will release on time but this is approaching the sound quality of the one file i recorded in a barn. apologies for how rushed this one was, the scientific conference really took a lot of my proper free time for a while, which makes it hard to sit down and dedicate some time to writing something lengthy or recording.
