A little background but the photo 'Oh Noes' by Illiara on Deviantart has been living rent free inside my head for years and especially this year I wanted to make an animation inspired by it.

And this week I finally did it. It's a little different from my usual art but I took it as an opportunity to try some new things. In particular, the lips slurping the legs and feet at the end came out really well and that's definitely something I want to do more of in the future. 

I like to imagine this video as a clip from a 50s b-movie 'Ozzie the Octopus in Earth Women are Tasty', I'm thinking the premise of the movie is Ozzie's flying saucer breaks down on Earth and while waiting for a tow he'd understandably get a little hungry and if the kitchen is already closed, then you gotta make do, right?
