Greetings, my wicked followers of lust and intrigue!
With Version 22 finally out, it's time to look ahead to what's coming next for Court Magician. And we have some delightfully wicked schemes for Version 23…

The End Is Nigh!
That's right, we're finally beginning work toward the endgame of Court Magician!
After all his scheming, manipulation, seduction, and magical mischief, Greely is getting closer to his ultimate objective: summoning Moloch himself!
However, before that can happen, there are still a few things that need to happen. Version 23 will take a major step in that direction, while also continuing some of the character storylines you've been eagerly awaiting.

The Downfall of the Baroness
I know many of you have been eagerly awaiting more content with our haughty, beautiful, , and increasingly vulnerable Baroness, and I'm happy to say that her storyline will be a major focus in Version 23.
Version 22 introduced Debt Becomes Her, setting the stage for Greely's latest scheme to bring the Baroness under his influence.
In Version 23, we'll continue that storyline as Greely works to tighten his grip on the Baroness, exploiting her circumstances and maneuvering her ever closer to his control.
Of course, a woman of her pride and standing won’t surrender easily. But that only makes the reward all the sweeter, does it not?

Main Plot Progression – The Summoning Room
The other major focus of Version 23 will be advancing the main storyline toward its ultimate conclusion.
Greely has been charged with orchestrating Moloch’s return, but such a momentous undertaking requires considerable preparation.
The next major step is preparing the Summoning Room, where the final ceremony will eventually take place. We had intended to complete this in the last update but were unable to.

This is will be an important milestone because it represents the second-to-last major requirement before the summoning itself. Once the Summoning Room is ready, the final remaining obstacle will be gaining control of the factions.
Version 23 will focus on laying the groundwork for that final ceremony, bringing us one step closer to the dramatic events that will ultimately determine Greely's fate, and perhaps the fate of everyone in the kingdom!
We're not quite at the finale yet, but for the first time, the end is coming into sight!

New Solo Scenes
Of course, what would Court Magician be without a little wicked fun along the way?
Version 23 will also include new solo scenes, expanding the opportunities for Greely to indulge his more questionable interests.

Weakness Quests: Progress Continues
As you know, Version 22 introduced the ambitious new modular Weakness Quest system, designed to generate unique quests based on each character's weaknesses, faction, schedule, and circumstances.
Unfortunately, this system turned out to be considerably more complex than I originally anticipated, and the initial release was still very much a work in progress.
In Version 23, we will continue completing and polishing the Weakness Quests, expanding the unfinished content, fixing bugs, and improving the various quest paths.
With 9 different weaknesses and 4 possible variations for each, there's a lot of ground to cover, but my goal is to turn this ambitious system into a fully functional and engaging part of the game, so that every NPC has content to explore..
I can't promise will be finished in Version 23, but completing this system remains a priority.

Looking Ahead
There's still plenty of work ahead, and we are very close to finishiing a 1.0. We still have some way to go, but we're now in a new phase of development, one in which the various plots, schemes, and ambitions that have been building throughout the game will begin coming together.
