GOCKHAUS Update 12/31/2025

Happy New Year's all! Thatcombatwombat with the last update post of 2025 🍾

Over the course of 2025, my main releases were the Brazilian Miku card, the RWBY Workout Finale, Mirajane x Millianna, Bridget Townbang, the GOCKHAUS demo, and Toru on Herohub. Not bad! The back half of the year has largely been devoted to game dev, but even aside from that, these other projects are things I'm proud of.

As for GOCKHAUS; due to the delays of the holidays and the Toru video, I'm not quite finished with Thursday's chapter. I am, however, very nearly done, honestly I thought I would be farther behind on Chapter 4 at this point, but I've been kinda cruising. I guess that's what happens when you take a break, my motivation and focus on the game has been extremely high lately.

I should be done with the chapter within the next few days here, and I'll update this post when I do to let y'all know. I should also say that I've reconsidered on doing another demo; at this point, there's only one chapter left, and a demo that covers over half of a game just feels unnecessary. I would still like to update the previous demo with some voice acting though, and after this current chapter I feel like I'll be in a good place to start on that side of things.

GOCKHAUS should release in either February or March. There's only one chapter left after this one, but my plans for the climax and finale are pretty dense, so we'll see how long it ends up taking, haha.

2025 was a busy year for me, but I have a lot planned for 2026. IRL I'm planning on going back to school in the fall, this time at St. Paul College. In online terms, I'll definitely be taking a break from game development, but before the end of 2026 I'd like to start on BreedTown 4. We'll see how life goes, lotta stuff to balance!

I absolutely won't be completing the final chapter by the end of January, but we'll see how far I can get by the time of the next update post. See y'all then!
