Big update on the second scene for the bunny project!

   I got really, REALLY burnt by a bug in Blender while i was building the rig for making them bunny gals tik. Took much hair pulling, but managed to find a workaround. Dang bouncy bits refused to bounce! Pfahhh!

   I kinda finished the rigging and all possible little move-y bits for the future for this scene, and KINDA made and rendered a presentable demo (video at the bottom!), before i am for now forced to sell off my graphics card, rendering my workstation dead for a good week... :/ But then it is roaring back to life with my brand new RTX 3060Ti weee! Thank you for everybody backing the campaign who at least in part made this upgrade possible!

   I'm counting on that one real hard for the ease of painting these book style textures. And future real light bouncing renders. These type of pre-baked colors, as seen in the video, are actually lightning fast to render. But as you can imagine, very limited in movement, before forms start to become exposed as the fixed shadow shaded objects they are.

  So sorry for the little under cooked timings and all, in the animation, but i literally had to stop, quickly wait out render and power off the system. Did not even have the time to try and make it a nice loop like last time. REMEMBER, this is meant to be just a demo anyways, these come of each scene completed (check out the first scene demo with Sonic in a lick sandwich if you haven't yet), and then in the end comes the real, fully baked "movie", using all the scenes and brand new animations. And fluid effects.

  Also here is a snippet of a newly picked up 3deeify project, the AmyUNTOLD 'Super Couple' book that has been in permanent limbo for the better part of a decade, received a nifty (i think it is...) front cover back in the day, and i can't resist. Sorry for not polling you about it. But it will yield an Amy and a Sonic model for the framework of the big bunny video, so it should prove very useful on the long run. I also felt i was stuck in a feature creep / just simply out of steam creative valley with the latest bunny scene, and i was right, i jumped into this other project and i am once again lightning fast. I finish this and then it's bunny scene 03 time!

A couple loops, well, true loops when possible, come now, of the new finally fully finished scene. The prerequisites are now 2/3 ready for the big bunny thingy. These clips have nothing to do with the final big movie idea, they just show off some of the many possibilities.

  'Scene 02' is essentially ready, poor Vanilla still lacks an eye, hence none of these showing her face really... And a little more touch-ups here and there to go. Motion previews and whatnutz coming up next!

  The 3deefication process is at Vanilla's final texturing touches, in the meantime here is a test simulation / render for a side project i'm working on in parallel. Was going to be just a short loop of tentacles squeezing Cream holding her slightly out of the water, but it looks there will be a little beginning and an end to it as well. One of the 3d printable models joined together, still not a true versatile 3d character model, but does the job in this very specific situation. Using an old demo of the fluid plugin plagued with watermark logos, and still not having the rendering capacity for animation full of liquids. Wink-wink.

  So, back to texture painting the second sequence's models. All the black areas are out-of-boundary regions from the book's original graphics. Plus there are a number of places where forms are on top of each other, these contain some silly results now, it's just a dumb starting projection thingy from upwards. At least a half good AI fill thing would be nice for these segments of the work... some people may even know such tools out there... but it's all manual for me. For the first sequence's model i really screwed myself with setting a single 8K texture, and my video card is not quite up to the task of real time manipulation of such a big image, so it was quite the teeth grinder to retouch the missing information. This time i optimize the workflow with a number of separate 4K textures, still great for those future close-up renders, and that's one quarter of the processing stress, more or less let's me paint in Blender, as if i was working in Photoshop.

  I know it seems a little sleepy around here, i sorta experienced an artist's block thing finishing a book page that grew way out of the originally proposed proportions... A comprehensive promo pack is now up on my blog of said page, and now officially, i'm back at animating!
