Spellbound at Elderwynd - Chapter 1: Bound for Elderwynd

I stood in front of the mirror, taking in my reflection. My chestnut brown hair framed my face in soft waves, brushing just below my shoulders. I gave a little tug on my shirt to smooth out the fabric, then turned slightly to get a better look at the outfit I'd chosen for the trip—just a simple pair of shorts and a loose-fitting top, nothing fancy. The outfit felt right for a day of travel, comfortable but presentable enough for meeting new people. My eyes drifted downward, catching the unmistakable bulge under my shorts.

I bit my lip, leaning in closer to the mirror, my eyes drifting south as I confirmed that my diaper was soaked. I hadn’t even noticed, which was no surprise; accidents happened more often than I’d care to admit. I’d been wearing them for as long as I could remember, and honestly, they felt more like a part of me than just something I wore. A little crinkle here and there? A bit of extra bulk? It was just… normal; it was me.

Still, excitement bubbled up inside me. Elderwynd Academy. I couldn’t believe I was going. I’d dreamed about this for years—ever since I first heard about the Sisterhood, a group of remarkable women who mastered their magical talents and made a difference in the world. The acceptance letter felt like a doorway to something extraordinary, a chance to become part of something much bigger than myself.

I turned back to my bed, where my suitcase sat open. Almost everything was packed now: clothes, toiletries, and the little comforts of home, like my favorite book and the stuffed dragon I couldn’t leave behind. I glanced at the corner of my suitcase, where a neat stack of diapers was tucked discreetly under a folded sweater. My mom had insisted I pack plenty. I sighed, closing the lid.

As I snapped the suitcase shut, I heard a soft knock on my door. "Come in!" I called.

The door creaked open, and Mom stepped in, her warm smile filling the room. Her auburn hair was pulled into a loose bun, and she looked at me with pride and that mom kind of worry. “How’s it going in here? Are you just about ready?” she asked, stepping closer.

“Just finished,” I said, gesturing to the packed suitcase on my bed.

“Good, good,” she said, scanning the room. “Well, if you’re ready, we should probably take care of one last thing before we go.” Her eyes dropped to my shorts, and I knew exactly what she meant.

I nodded. “Yeah, okay.”

Without another word, I climbed onto the changing table by the window, a routine so familiar that it barely registered as unusual. The table had been with me for as long as I could remember. Mom pulled a fresh diaper, wipes, and powder from the basket underneath as I settled back with a faint crinkle.

As she worked, I stared out the window, watching the sunlight dance on the lawn. “I’m excited, you know,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the flurry of nerves under the surface. “I can’t believe I got in. To be part of the Sisterhood—it just feels unreal.”

Mom smiled as she folded up the used diaper and tossed it into my diaper pail. “You’ve worked hard for this, Mina. They wouldn’t have picked you if you didn’t deserve it.” She sprinkled powder with practiced ease. “But don’t forget—this is just the beginning. You’ve got a lot of learning ahead of you.”

“I know,” I said softly. “I just hope I can live up to it.”

She quickly fastened the clean diaper around me, gently patting the front before pulling my shorts back into place. “You will. I know you will.”

I hopped down from the table, the clean diaper feeling soft and secure. Mom gave me a final once-over, smoothing my hair. “Let’s get your things to the car, sweetheart. It’s time to start your adventure.”

Mom reached for my suitcase as I grabbed my backpack. The soft pink fabric of the bag felt comforting in my hands. It was covered in tiny embroidered stars and moons, a design I’d chosen years ago but still loved. I slung it over my shoulder, feeling its familiar weight. Inside were all my changing supplies—diapers, wipes, powder—everything I might need. Even though I didn’t change myself, the academy had assured us in the acceptance letter that they were well-prepared to meet any student’s unique needs.

I followed Mom out of my room, the suitcase wheels clicking softly as she rolled it along the hardwood floor. Downstairs, the house felt quieter than usual, as though it already missed me. Mom opened the front door, and a cool morning breeze greeted us. The car was waiting, its trunk open and ready.

She lifted the suitcase effortlessly into the trunk. I slid into the back seat, settling my backpack on the seat beside me. The car smelled faintly of lavender air freshener, which always reminded me of trips with Mom. She closed the trunk with a satisfying thunk before climbing into the driver’s seat.

The drive to the train station wasn’t long, maybe twenty minutes, but it felt like an eternity and a blink. The streets of our small town were familiar, but my mind was already far away, imagining what Elderwynd would be like. Would the castle be as grand as the pictures? Would the other students be friendly? Would I be able to master magic and become part of the Sisterhood?

Mom glanced at me in the rearview mirror. “Nervous?” she asked, her voice soft.

“A little,” I admitted. “But mostly excited.”

Her lips curved into a smile. “That’s the right attitude. You’re going to do great, Mina. Just remember, everyone’s a little nervous on their first day.”

I nodded, gripping the straps of my backpack. Her words helped, but the fluttering in my stomach didn’t stop.

When we reached the station, the sight of the magical platform stole my breath. It was bustling with activity—students in various stages of departure, parents giving last-minute hugs, and uniformed conductors guiding passengers to their compartments.

Mom pulled the car to a stop, and I scrambled out, my excitement bubbling over. She retrieved my suitcase and handed it to me, her eyes misting. “Well,” she said, her voice catching slightly, “this is it.”

I threw my arms around her, burying my face in her shoulder. “I’ll miss you, Mom.”

“And I’ll miss you,” she hugged me tightly. “But I want you to enjoy every moment, Mina. You’ve got so much ahead of you.”

We held onto each other for a moment longer before she pulled back, smoothing my hair one last time. “Go on, sweetheart. Your adventure is waiting.”

I nodded, my heart swelling with both nerves and excitement. With one last smile, I turned and wheeled my suitcase toward the train.

The train loomed before me, a magnificent steam locomotive straight out of a dream. Its black body gleamed in the sunlight, its brass fittings shining with a golden glow. Billowing clouds of steam rose from its chimney, curling into the crisp morning air. The deep, resonant whistle sounded, sending a shiver of excitement down my spine. Everything about it felt magical—like the first step into a new world.

A uniformed conductor stood near the open door of one of the carriages; his cap tilted slightly as he welcomed passengers. He spotted me and smiled warmly, stepping forward to take my suitcase. “Good morning, young lady,” he said in a kind, rich voice. “Heading to Elderwynd?”

“Yes,” I said, my voice a mix of nerves and excitement.

“Well, you’re in for quite the adventure.” He tipped his hat. “Allow me.” He hefted my suitcase with ease and gestured toward the carriage steps. “Right this way.”

I followed him up the narrow stairs, the sound of steam hissing and the hum of chatter filling the air. Inside, the carriage was just as charming as the train itself. The corridor stretched down the length of the car, with small compartments lining each side. Each compartment was framed by polished wooden panels and frosted glass doors etched with swirling patterns. Peering inside one, I saw the benches—two plush seats facing each other, each covered in a rich burgundy fabric. It felt cozy and private, like a little haven for the journey ahead.

“Here we are,” the conductor said, opening the door to an empty compartment. “You’ll be comfortable here.”

“Thank you,” I said, slipping inside. I set my backpack on the seat beside me and settled into the other. The bench was soft, and the faint scent of leather and wood polish filled the air. I turned to the window, watching parents waving goodbye and students milling about on the platform. My excitement was tinged with nerves as the reality of leaving home began to set in.

I was lost in thought when the compartment door slid open. A girl with short, jet-black hair and bright green eyes stepped inside, her gaze darting between me and the empty seat. “Hi,” she said, hesitating slightly. “Do you mind if I sit here? All the other compartments are full.”

I smiled warmly, gesturing to the bench across from me. “Of course! Go ahead.”

She gave a small, relieved smile and slipped inside, placing her bag neatly under the seat before sitting down. “Thanks. I was starting to think I’d have to stand the whole way,” she joked lightly.

I chuckled, feeling my nerves ease a little. “No problem. I’m Mina, by the way.”

Her eyes widened slightly, and something in her expression shifted. “Wait—Mina? Mina Lethford?”

I blinked in surprise. “Yes… how do you know that?”

She grinned, leaning forward slightly. “I’m Elyse! Elyse Varnett. Your roommate!”

Recognition dawned. The name had been in my acceptance packet, listed beside mine as my assigned roommate. I’d wondered what she might be like, and now she was sitting across from me. “Oh, wow!” I said, smiling brightly. “What are the odds? It’s so nice to meet you!”

“You too!” Elyse said with a laugh. “Guess this means we’re stuck with each other, huh?”

I giggled. “I think we’ll manage.”

As the train gave a jolt, its whistle sounded once more, followed by the rhythmic tolling of the bell. Slowly, the station glided past the window, the platform bustling with waving families and other passengers. Before long, the familiar sights of my hometown melted away, replaced by the rolling hills and lush green countryside I had always loved. The trees swayed gently in the breeze, their leaves shimmering under the golden sunlight, and for a moment, I felt a strange mix of nostalgia and exhilaration.

Elyse and I began to chat as the train picked up speed, the gentle rumble beneath our feet becoming a steady rhythm. “I still can’t believe we got in,” Elyse said, her eyes sparkling excitedly. “It feels like a dream, doesn’t it?”

“It does,” I said, smiling. “I’ve been counting the days since the acceptance letter arrived.”

“Same here!” she said with a laugh. “It feels like we’re finally entering a new world.”

We fell into an easy rhythm of conversation, sharing bits about our lives and our excitement for what lay ahead. At one point, I leaned forward, curiosity bubbling up. “So,” I asked, “do you know what magic specialty you want to master?”

Elyse tilted her head thoughtfully. “Not completely sure yet. I think I’m leaning toward Earth magic, though. Something about its stability and connection to the natural world feels… right. What about you?”

“Air,” I answered without hesitation, my smile widening. “I’ve always been fascinated by how it’s invisible but always there, carrying strength and freedom. I can’t wait to start learning.”

“That’s amazing,” Elyse said, her excitement mirroring mine. “You’ll have to show me a trick or two once you figure it out.”

I laughed, feeling the buzz of energy in the compartment. Outside the window, the countryside stretched endlessly, a green sea of possibilities waiting to be explored.

As the train rattled, the gentle vibration awakened a discomfort I tried to ignore. A familiar pressure began to build in my bladder, and I shifted slightly in my seat, trying to focus on the conversation instead. I’d dealt with this a million times before—there was no reason to feel anxious. But as the moments ticked by, the pressure grew sharper, and I realized holding it was quickly becoming futile.

I crossed my legs tightly, willing the feeling to subside, but the motion only drew Elyse’s attention. Her eyes flickered downward briefly, and I noticed her gaze lingering at the waistband of my shorts. My heart skipped a beat as I realized what she might have seen—a tiny sliver of white peeking out from under my shirt.

I tugged my shirt down instinctively, hoping she hadn’t noticed, but my focus wavered. The pressure in my bladder reached a breaking point, and I knew I wouldn’t last much longer. I let out a small sigh and relaxed, allowing the inevitable to happen.

Warmth spread through my diaper, the sensation both relieving and humbling. The padding swelled as it absorbed everything, growing thicker and bulkier with each passing second. I shifted again, this time uncomfortably aware of how the swollen diaper pressed against my skin and made my shorts bulge noticeably.

Elyse wasn’t looking anymore, but I couldn’t shake the heat rising to my cheeks. The bulge felt enormous, impossible to hide, and I couldn’t help but glance down. My shorts stretched tightly over the now obvious outline, the fabric no longer concealing my secret as well as I’d hoped.

I tried to sit still, my hands fidgeting with the hem of my shirt in an attempt to cover the evidence. My heart pounded as I waited to see if Elyse would notice; every slight crinkle and diaper shift amplified in my mind.

“So,” she said after a pause, her tone suddenly playful, “are you wearing something… special?”

My face flushed instantly. “What? No! Of course not!” I stammered, quickly tugging my shirt down as far as it would go. The motion only seemed to confirm her suspicion.

Elyse’s lips curled into a grin, and she leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees. “It’s okay,” she said, her voice light and teasing. “I think it’s… kind of cute.”

I groaned softly, burying my face in my hands. “You’re imagining things,” I mumbled, though I knew the truth was written all over me.

“Oh, don’t be embarrassed,” Elyse said, waving a hand dismissively. “It’s not like it’s a big deal. Besides, I think it’s adorable.” Her grin widened. “You didn’t think I’d notice?”

I peeked at her from between my fingers, my cheeks still burning. “It’s… it’s not the first time someone’s noticed,” I admitted reluctantly, my voice barely above a whisper. “But it’s still embarrassing.”

“Well, if it makes you feel any better,” Elyse said, sitting back and crossing her legs, “I promise not to tell anyone. Your secret’s safe with me.”

“Thanks,” I muttered, still mortified but relieved at her kindness.

The train rumbled on, and I focused on the passing scenery, trying to calm the flurry of emotions Elyse’s teasing had stirred. Despite the embarrassment, I couldn’t help but feel a little grateful that she’d taken it so well.

Elyse tilted her head, her grin softening into something more curious. “So… how long have you been wearing diapers?” she asked, her tone gentle enough that it didn’t feel like teasing anymore.

I bit my lip, and my cheeks were still hot. Part of me wanted to deflect again, but I could tell she wouldn’t let it go. “Forever,” I mumbled, staring at my hands. “Since I was a baby. My parents… they just gave up trying to potty train me. I’ve always needed them.”

“Wow,” she said softly, her green eyes thoughtful. “I mean, I think it’s sweet. You shouldn’t be embarrassed about it.”

I gave her a weak smile, still feeling the weight of her curiosity. Before she could ask anything else, the train took a slight curve, and the view out the window shifted. Elyse gasped, her eyes widening, and I turned to see what had caught her attention.

Over the crest of a hill, Elderwynd Academy came into view, and my breath caught in my throat. The castle was even more incredible than I’d imagined, a masterpiece of architecture and magic combined. It towered above the surrounding landscape, its spires soaring into the heavens like fingers grasping at the clouds. The tallest spire was capped with an enormous glass orb, glowing faintly with shifting colors that pulsed in time with the magical energy I almost felt humming in the air.

The castle’s walls were made of pale stone, the surface shimmering faintly in the sunlight as though infused with countless flecks of enchanted quartz. The stone's texture was intricate as if carved by hand long ago, and every detail was imbued with purpose. A series of towering battlements crowned the walls, each adorned with gleaming pennants bearing the academy’s crest: a phoenix rising on a swirl of wind, its feathers alight with golden fire.

Massive, arched windows punctuated the castle’s face, each framed by ornately carved stonework. The glass within them seemed to shift subtly, refracting sunlight into a thousand fractured rainbows that danced across the castle’s façade. As I stared, the windows almost appeared alive, their patterns changing with the angle of the light, creating a mesmerizing and otherworldly effect. . Ivy climbed the castle’s walls in graceful, deliberate patterns, its emerald tendrils shimmering faintly with enchantment. The greenery was part of the magic, winding around the castle to protect and enhance its beauty. Small, luminous flowers dotted the ivy, their soft glow adding an ethereal touch to the ancient stone.

The centerpiece of the castle was its grand clock tower, rising majestically from the central courtyard. The enormous clock face was adorned with golden numbers and intricate filigree, its hands sweeping forward with an almost musical rhythm. Around the tower's base, stone gargoyles perched in eternal vigilance, their features carved with incredible detail—some fierce and intimidating, others surprisingly whimsical, with sly grins and curious expressions.

The castle sat atop a rocky outcrop, its foundation appearing almost natural, as though the stone had grown from the earth specifically to hold it aloft. Below, a glistening lake reflected the castle’s grandeur, the surface rippling with streaks of light that seemed to echo the shimmering walls above. A series of stone bridges spanned the lake, leading to smaller islands that held what looked like classrooms, workshops, and private gardens.

The surrounding grounds were a paradise of lush greenery and magic. Trees dotted the landscape, their leaves glowing faintly in hues of silver, gold, and green as if touched by moonlight. Pathways wound through the grounds like veins of magic, paved with smooth cobblestones littered with tiny embedded crystals. Along the paths, lanterns floated midair, their soft light casting warm, welcoming glows.

To one side of the castle, an enormous greenhouse caught my eye. Its roof was crystalline, the panes refracting sunlight in a kaleidoscope of colors. Inside, I could see towering plants and flowers, some glowing softly, others shifting colors or shapes as if alive with their magic. Beyond the greenhouse, a vast open field stretched toward the horizon, lined with ancient, rune-carved stones that marked the academy’s dueling grounds and training arenas.

Elderwynd Academy wasn’t just a castle—it was a living, breathing entity, radiating magic and history. As the train descended toward the station, I felt an overwhelming sense of awe and excitement. This wasn’t just a place to learn—it was a place to discover who I was meant to become.

“Wow,” Elyse whispered, echoing my thoughts. “It’s… beautiful.”

“Yeah,” I breathed, unable to tear my eyes away. My heart swelled with excitement and nervousness. This would be my home, where I’d learn magic and hopefully find my place in the world.

As the train descended toward the academy, the details became even clearer. I saw students milling about near the main entrance, their robes fluttering in the breeze. The front gates were massive, wrought iron with intricate designs shimmered faintly with enchantments. Above the gates, an ornate crest displayed Elderwynd’s emblem: a soaring phoenix surrounded by swirling winds, its feathers alive with golden light.

“I can’t believe we’re here,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Elyse nodded, her excitement matching mine. “This is it, Elderwynd.”

The train began to slow, the hiss of steam and the rhythmic clatter of wheels filling the air as we pulled into the station. Outside the window, I could see a smaller platform buzzing with activity near the grand gates of Elderwynd. Excited students chattered as they gathered their belongings, the energy in the air almost palpable.

The aisles filled with movement inside the train as everyone began to disembark. Elyse and I exchanged an eager glance. I slung my bag over my shoulder, and then we joined the student flow on the platform. Once we stepped outside, the cool breeze carried the mingling scents of fresh grass and faint magical energy, the smell that made my skin tingle.

On the platform, school officials in crisp robes were already corralling the throng of students, gently but firmly guiding them into orderly groups. Minders—older students with polished badges pinned to their robes—moved among the crowd, each assigned to a section of new arrivals.

“First-years, over here!” a cheerful voice called, and I turned to see a tall girl with curly blonde hair waving us over. Her badge sparkled faintly with enchantment, marking her as one of the senior students helping us settle in. She beamed as Elyse and I approached, her energy as bright as the sunlight glinting off the gates behind her.

“Welcome to Elderwynd!” she said enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling as she took us in. “I’m Felicity, and I’ll be your minder for the year. My job is to ensure you find your way here and feel at home. Your bags will be delivered to your rooms shortly. Let’s get you sorted and show you around, shall we?”

Elyse and I nodded, falling into step as Felicity led us away from the platform. She spoke with an easy confidence, pointing out landmarks as we passed. “That’s the main hall,” she said, gesturing to a massive stone building with intricate stained glass windows. “You’ll have your meals there—and probably make some of your best memories.”

The pathways wound through beautiful gardens, past fountains that seemed to flow with liquid light, and toward a cluster of smaller buildings nestled under the castle's shadow. “This is the first-year dorm area,” Felicity explained as we approached. “It’ll be your home for the year. Trust me, you’re going to love it.”

The dorm buildings were quaint yet elegant, their ivy-covered walls blending seamlessly with the enchanted surroundings. I couldn’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation as Felicity led us toward one of the doors, her cheerful chatter making the grandness of it all feel just a little less overwhelming.

Felicity led us down a long, winding hallway, her voice cheerful as she explained more about the school. “You’re going to love it here,” she said, stopping in front of a wooden door with our names etched on a small, glowing plaque: Mina Lethford and Elyse Varnett. “And here we are—your room for the year!”

Felicity pushed open the door and stepped inside. The room was simple but cozy. Two twin beds, each with its wardrobe and desk, sat on opposite sides of the room. The bedding was neatly arranged in soft, neutral tones. A small window framed by pale curtains let in natural light and offered a view of the bustling courtyards below. But my attention was immediately drawn to the piece of furniture against the wall—a polished wooden changing table. My face burned at the sight of it.

I froze momentarily, unsure of what to say, but Felicity carried on cheerfully as if it were the most normal thing in the world. “As you can see, your space is set up to meet your unique needs,” she said, gesturing casually to the table. “The academy takes pride in ensuring every student is comfortable and supported. That’s also why the two of you have been paired—we expect you to help one another out.”

I blinked, feeling my cheeks flush even more. Were they paired together? To help one another? Did Elyse—? I stole a glance at her, but her expression was unreadable. Her green eyes were focused on Felicity.

Felicity moved to the beds, where neatly folded uniforms were stacked. “These are your first-year uniforms,” she explained. “The blazers and pleated skirts mark you as first-years, as do the plain-colored ties. The ties will change as you advance through the years, and of course, you’ll earn your robes later on.”

The uniforms were simple but elegant: dark blazers with the Elderwynd crest embroidered on the chest, skirts in matching tones, and crisp white shirts. The ties were plain but neat, their solid colors complementing the overall look.

Felicity smiled, clasping her hands together. “Now, I suggest you both freshen up and change into your uniforms. We’ve got a proper tour of the academy planned, and you won’t want to miss it.” She motioned to the changing table, her tone pointed but still kind. “I’ll leave you to it.”

She gave us one last grin and stepped out, closing the door softly behind her. Without her exuberant energy, the room felt quieter, and I stared at the changing table again, my embarrassment bubbling up. They’d put one in here—for me. Did the entire academy know about this?

I glanced at Elyse, who was busy inspecting the uniforms. She didn’t seem fazed by the changing table, but her calm made me more self-conscious. “This is so embarrassing,” I muttered under my breath, sitting on the edge of my bed.

Elyse finally looked up, her expression curious but kind. “Hey, don’t worry about it,” she said lightly. “Felicity’s right—this place seems like it’s all about ensuring everyone feels comfortable.”

I nodded, but my cheeks still burned. It wasn’t the first time my needs had been accommodated so openly, but it never got easier. For now, I focused on the neatly folded uniform beside me, trying to calm the flurry of nerves in my stomach.

Elyse turned to me with a grin, breaking the silence. “Well,” she said, hands on her hips, “since Felicity made it pretty clear we’re supposed to help each other… how about I help you get started?” Her tone was casual, but her green eyes sparkled mischievously.

My face turned scarlet. “I-I can manage,” I stammered, though the obvious bulge of my soaked diaper beneath my shorts betrayed the truth.

“Don’t be silly,” she said with a wave. “You’ll feel much better once you’re freshened up. Come on, there's no time to be shy. We’ve got a tour to catch!” Before I could argue, she stepped closer, gently tugging at the waistband of my shorts. “Let’s get these off.”

I hesitated momentarily, but her confident demeanor left me little room to protest. Reluctantly, I nodded, and Elyse wasted no time. She slipped my shorts down, revealing the unmistakable swell of my soggy diaper. I avoided her gaze, my cheeks burning, but she chuckled softly.

“Wow, you needed a change,” she said lightly, helping me onto the changing table. I let her guide me, my embarrassment growing with every crinkle of the plastic. She helped me lay back, her movements sure, and practiced as if this wasn’t her first time doing something like this. I bit my lip, trying to focus on the ceiling, as she untaped the sides of my diaper with a quick rip.

Elyse worked efficiently, cleaning me up with wipes she’d grabbed from the shelf underneath. Her hands brought the wet wipes between my legs, cleaning me, and with a small smile, her fingers seemed to linger atop my lips a moment before continuing. “You’ll feel much better in no time,” she said, her tone cheerful. I couldn’t bring myself to respond, my face still hot as she finished and reached for a fresh diaper.

When she brought it into view, I blinked in surprise. The diaper she held was unlike anything I’d seen before. It was thicker than the ones I wore normally, and it bore the same colors as our first-year uniforms. A faint pattern of the Elderwynd crest adorned the waistband.

Elyse grinned, holding it up like a trophy. “Check it out! Even your diapers mark you as a first-year. Pretty cool, huh?”

I groaned softly, covering my face with my hands. “Cool isn’t the word I’d use…”

She laughed, shaking her head as she unfolded the diaper and slid it under me. “Oh, come on. It’s practical. And look—now you match the uniform.” She pulled the diaper snugly between my legs, the thickness forcing them apart noticeably, and secured the tapes with practiced ease.

“There we go,” she said brightly, patting the front of the diaper with a satisfied smile. “All set!”

She helped me off the changing table, and I couldn’t help but notice how bulky the diaper felt as I stood. My legs were spread further apart than usual, and the crinkling seemed louder with every movement. Elyse didn’t seem to notice—or maybe she was just polite enough not to comment—as she grabbed the neatly folded uniform and held it out to me.

“Let’s get you dressed,” she said, guiding me through the process. The shirt and blazer fit perfectly, crisp and professional, but my cheeks flushed anew when I slipped into the pleated skirt. The hem barely reached the tops of my thighs, which did little to conceal the bulky diaper beneath. I tugged at it uselessly, trying to lower it, but Elyse laughed.

“Don’t worry about it,” she said, straightening the tie at my collar. “You look great! Besides, it’s not like anyone’s going to care. You’re at Elderwynd now—it’s all about embracing who you are.”

I gave her a hesitant smile, though the weight of the diaper and the shortness of the skirt made me feel anything but confident. Still, her positivity was infectious, and I couldn’t deny that her help had eased some of my nerves.

As Elyse stepped back to admire her handiwork, I crossed my arms and smirked at her. “Alright,” I said, a mischievous glint in my eye, “your turn.”

Elyse’s confident demeanor faltered for the first time, and her cheeks flared pink. “M-my turn?” she stammered, taking a half-step back.

I grinned, stepping toward her. “Oh, come on. You helped me, remember? It’s only fair I help you, too. It’s the rules; after all, you don’t want to get in trouble on your first day, do you?”

She tried to sidestep, but I was faster. Before she could slip away, I caught the waistband of her shorts and tugged. With a soft crinkle, her shorts slid down, revealing a soaked diaper, the pastel design on the front slightly distorted by the dampness. Elyse’s face turned bright red, and she let out a squeak of protest, her hands darting down to cover herself.

“Well,” I said teasingly, “Looks like I’m not the only one who needed a change.”

Elyse’s shoulders slumped, and she sighed, her green eyes darting away from mine. “Fine,” she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper. “I wear diapers, too. Happy?”

I stepped closer and placed a hand on her arm. “Hey,” I said softly, pulling her into a firm hug. “It’s okay. Really. You don’t have to be embarrassed—I mean, look at me.”

She hesitated momentarily before hugging me back, her tension easing slightly. “Thanks,” she mumbled against my shoulder, her voice tinged with relief and lingering embarrassment.

I pulled back and gave her a reassuring smile. “Now, come on. Let’s get you changed so we can finish getting ready.”

Elyse nodded reluctantly, and I guided her to the changing table. She climbed up with a small crinkle, her cheeks still flushed as I grabbed the supplies from the shelf beneath. With steady hands, I untaped her diaper, her hairless sex coming into view, cleaning her up, and reaching for one of the first-year diapers that matched our uniforms.

“Guess we’re twins now,” I said with a wink, unfolding the thick diaper and sliding it under her. Elyse let out a small laugh despite herself, and I smiled as I taped it snugly into place. The diaper spread her legs noticeably, as mine had, but she seemed to relax as I helped her down.

“Thanks,” she said quietly, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

“Anytime,” I replied with a grin, handing her the neatly folded uniform from her bed. “Now, let’s get you dressed.”

With my help, Elyse slipped into the crisp white shirt and blazer. When she stepped into the pleated skirt, she paused, pulling at the hem much like I had. “Is it just me,” she asked, “or are these skirts too short?”

I laughed, adjusting her tie. “It’s not just you. But I guess we’ll survive.”

Once she was fully dressed, we stood side by side, taking a moment to admire our reflections in the small mirror by the window. Despite the lingering embarrassment, I couldn’t help but feel a flicker of pride. Together, we looked like we truly belonged at Elderwynd Academy.

Elyse caught my eye in the mirror and smiled. “Ready for the tour?”

I nodded, straightening my blazer. “Let’s do this.”
