Upcoming NTR:BSS (Secret of the Scroll)
We’re in the final stretch of development for the last major exclusive release of Naughty Time Rendering: Bittersweet Summer Saga (NTR:BSS).
All of the game logic is complete and tested. The new Secret of the Scroll content is fully implemented—I went through it myself, and it took me about 3 hours to unlock everything because of how many clues are scattered around. The reward includes more than 20 new animated loops. I know some players may find the process tough or even frustrating, but that’s part of the challenge. If you get stuck or need to vent, I’ll be here to listen.
After some thought, I’ve decided not to put this game on Steam. The quality isn’t where I’d want it for that platform—it would mean redoing the UI, music, graphics, and more. That kind of rework would take years, and I’d rather move forward with new projects.
NTR:BSS will always be my first game, and I’ll always value it for what it is. Maybe someday I’ll revisit it with a complete revamp. For now, my focus is on the next project, which I’m developing in Unity with Steam release in mind.
The last task is finishing updated character illustrations. The artist is working on Kota’s final expression, and once that’s ready, the release can happen. You can expect the Secret of the Scroll Edition to be out within 3 weeks.
