Another report on what I've been doing in the past week and it's been mainly... making Stellar Incognita images. For those that don't know, my two favorite storylines from the whole game are: 1) The dronification storyline with Skyla and Xandra in Route C and 2) The prison colony storyline in Route B. Well, I realized there wasn't a storyline I felt was "cozy" like those ones in Route A, but that is going to change.
Remember how I said I would consider STELLAR INCOGNITA complete when Route A is as big in content as Route B? Well, I think Route A is going to be bigger than that. There's no use placing some artificial boundaries onto the work if the story is not told the way I imagine it - so I'm going to go full send and add as much content as required until the storylines are done.
That doesn't mean the stories are going to ramble on and have no end - the story branches are very clearly mapped out for the extra content (there are five branches). I'm just going to make sure each of those stories is told in full in a way that excites and interests me. Hopefully, you'll enjoy playing it as much as I'm currently having a good time making it. It's going to be weird, because the images look much more polished for this latest content compared to the first renders I made when this game came out. So there will be a noticeable visual leap in Route A to show how far things have come. But, I think it's a great way to finally conclude the game.
HEROES OF CELTICA is also proceeding well and v0.7.0 is almost in the bag. I need to compete some writing and do some pick-up images so that the story flows smoothly. Focusing on druid-only does make it easier, because I'm not leaping between what are essentially four separate games. This makes it easier to get into the right headspace a lot quicker. I could talk more about the work here, but anything that comes to mind feels like a potential spoiler.
Finally, I just want to be clear about something for GRAND SLAM supporters. Soon, you will get an advanced release copy of v0.6.2, which will be two weeks before the public release. Please be aware that this advanced copy is for the public version of the game, which does not have the extra patron supporter storyline included. So Grand Slam get early access as a perk, but early access AND the extra story content is reserved for Super Slam and Mega Slam only.
I will eventually release the Super and Mega exclusive content in the future to the public, but not for a long while. This extra content (which is about 25% more each update compared to the public releases) is my way of trying to say thanks to those patrons that support me at a higher tier.
I've been making images for STELLAR INCOGNITA. I'm still working through the storylines for the Route A expansion of the game and I must say, I'm getting more motivated to get it done. With a new PC, I'm kind of wringing out everything that's left with my old graphics rendering engine. I'm kind of eager to move into the 2020s with new assets and software.
But there is only so much bandwidth and free time I have. With HEROES OF CELTICA as the main ongoing project, I can't devote any spare time to practicing on making new 3D images until I've closed off STELLAR INCOGNITA. There's only enough time to do one main project and a little more for some side work.
We'll see how things go. Next week it is back to CELTICA for a while.

There's enough interest in this project that I'll schedule extra time in a month to create content for Stellar Incognita. This will also help me recoup expenses I've incurred thus far in making the game. Anything left over helps me buy a few more 3D models I think will fit the project and it will also help pay for the quarterly utility bills.

My computer is a literal potato using ancient software from Babylon - it should be evident in my artwork for 'Stellar Incognita'. If I hit this goal, I'll start a savings plan to get a new PC with a modern graphics card (GTX 30 or 40 series). I'll also move into this decade with a proper rendering engine and I can start building a modern library of 3D models. The rest will help to pay for the quarterly utility bills.

If somehow I hit this goal, I'll commit to developing a new visual novel project that I've been only been dreaming about (set in the modern world). It will have modern rendered graphics and maybe some other nifty features. Hitting this goal shows there's enough support and confidence in my output that people want to see this new project become a reality. I'm humbled.
