Please do not overwrite the old Shurisel data with the new Ver.2 character data.

If you want to keep the old voice version as well, please change the folder name and register it as a separate character.

As mentioned before, starting from Ver.2, the character’s .def file name has been changed.In the character registration area of select.def, please simply write “Schlussel”.

If you overwrite the old data with the new Ver.2 data, the character may still launch even without modifying select.def. However, you will likely encounter issues with certain special KO sequences, such as the Kuromaru Devour KO and the Minotaur KO.

This will be my last post of the year.

Thanks to all the support and encouragement I received again this year, I was able to make steady progress on my work. I was also able to record the long-awaited new voice lines, which has given me even more ideas for things I want to do going forward. I think I’ll be able to show even more evolution next year.

I’ll be returning to my hometown until the night of January 2nd, so the release of Shurisel is planned for around midday on the 3rd.
Also, since a large number of changes have been made, there’s a possibility that unexpected issues may occur. For one-time supporters as well, I’d appreciate it if you could remain a paid member until the end of the month, just in case—this will help ensure that you don’t miss receiving any fix patches.

Because there are many changes, I’ll be publishing the update log and related documentation first. I know this is a busy time around the year-end and New Year holidays, but I’d appreciate it if you could take a look when you have some free time.
(In hindsight, I probably should have released at least the change log by the previous month so people could decide whether to continue their support.)

I was looking for a very delicate balance — a voice that isn’t too cute like the current one, but also not as serious as the old one by Noriko Kuwashima. She delivered a perfect performance that fits the character beautifully.

To renew the voice, I also had to make extensive adjustments to the character’s data.
So, I’ve decided to postpone any updates or releases of the beta version for the rest of this year.

A new version of Schlussel, featuring the new voice and many additional elements, will be released early next year.
Please look forward to it and wait just a little longer.
