24 hour livestream tomorrow + Streamplan + Vacation starting October 1st

It's been a bit since the last bigger update post! Things have been busy lately, delays everywhere but I want to make sure that this month ends on a clean cut so I can enjoy my week off before going full steam ahead again.

The plan was to do my vacation on September 1st but my huge amount of backlog put a huge spanner into that and most of September's content. I apologize for all the delay and lack of actual September content progress, I'll take precautions that this doesn't happen again!

Now back to topic!

24 Hour Livestream Tomorrow, Why?

Kinda on short notice I know, I mentioned in previous post that I'll do it soon but not how soon it will be. It has to be tomorrow, doing one on Wednesday doesn't work because I have to drive my wife to therapy on Thursday morning.

I want to use it to get all of October's content done in time therefore tomorrow's the only day available for me. I usually would wait for the weekend otherwise, but the last two days have been busy with RL stuff again therefore I couldn't place it there.

Why am I doing this? I am aware that there are plenty of Patreons that might not know that Patreon had goals once upon a time, one of them was me doing a 24 hour livestream when I hit 1.2k€ a month that would cover all my costs of living. First of, not accurate... at all anymore. Inflation and higher cost of living biting me in the ass xD But a promise is a promise! I wanted to wait tho till I have glassfiber to finally make good on that promise. That happened that month so there is nothing in the way anymore 😁

Start Time

6am CEST

Why? Because that's the best starting time for my sleeping rhythm to not be thrown off hard + to get enough sleep without oversleeping and killing my entire Wednesday for the remaining work and reward stuff! The starting time might be inconvenient.. during the week and at this hour but that's the best I can do 😅

Streamplan

Things I will work on:

-Finishing the monthly Fanart

-Finishing the monthly Sequence

-Finishing the monthly Sketch Tier Sketches

-More work on TACS 2

-Getting started on fleshing out the concept winning idea of a small Team RWBY Reality Rewrite

Breaks inbetween:

-Lunchbreak ~30mins

-Afternoon Coffeebreak ~30mins

-Dinnerbreak ~30mins

-(there might be smaller breaks inbetween and some might be longer, I can never plan that but just to give a small heads up in advance!)

Vacation on October 1st

After all of that I'll go on a 1 week vacation. Aka from October 1st to October 7th, back to work on October 8th-9th (aka short work week) before heading into the weekend. I always plan these on dates, not on actual week-layouts as you can tell, but that works best with how I organized how my rewards and polls work 😁

Payments aren't paused as usual as I will be back on October 8th to continue working on a lot of stuff with some rest finally backing me up xD As usual, if I have sketch ideas while I'm recouperating I'll not hesitate to share 🤭

I'll update the Tiers accordingly with the vacation notice and go into vacation mode on SubStar!

Sooo that's it basically, sorry for the huge wall of text but I like to be elaborate at times. I'll hopefully see you throughout my stream here and there, thank you for your patience here and there and thanks for all of the support over the years!

❗[IMPORTANT] Billing changes and other updates

Billing Changes

You are lucky, I had to rant a little over on Patreon about some changes being forced by Apple, because else they would stop supporting the Patreon iOS app. We don't have that issue here but one change this has brought needs to get addressed over here.

I'll be changing the billing from "1st of the month" to "getting billed the day you subscribed" in a few days. My schedules don't change and I'll add new disclaimers to the tier descriptions accordingly!

This will only affect new subscribers btw!

Taking a vacation

I've been talking about it before I took my last vacation in January. I want to increase my yearly vacation time from 1 week to 2 weeks. Therefore I'm taking my second week in the first week of September. Therefore it's not too close to my January vacation.

Just like last time I won't pause pledges, In the first week of September there will be no content, but the suggestion threads will still get posted and I'll be posting the polls once the vacation is over. I will cut all personal project stuff that month so I can focus on getting TACS 2 pages done before I have to work on the monthly projects. I will also try my best to get the timelapses ready for August's content on September 1st so you don't have to wait a week for them.

I just wanted to give you this heads-up early enough so you can decide if you want to stop your pledge for that month or if you keep supporting me. There will be a little less content that month but I still hope it's worth pledging for ^
