Hello everyone!
My name is Ridaoz. I am Eastern Asian, and, yes, haha, my English is pretty bad.
I'm not a professional comic artist. In fact, I don't really think of myself as an artist at all sometimes; I'm just someone who likes h comics, just like you.
I always felt that the comics I love should be longer and free from page limitations.
So I started practicing. I drew and drew and drew. I studyed how to make comics, from print to digital. I absolutely love drawing with pencils--there's a certain charm with doing it by hand, and it's faster than inking. This is why my work often has pencil sketch lines you canstill see.
Through practicing, I discovered that my real talent lies in crafting complex storylines rather than just drawing.
I often noticed repetitive, boring stories in H comics. Many artists are constrained by tight deadlines and limited printed page counts. This prevents them from fully showcasing their vision. So I broke those rules: I created comics with no page limits, size restrictions, printer deadlines, or color restrictions. That's how my H comic style came to be!
I sincerely hope you enjoy them!
Recent style changes:
I've always liked working on colored comics. Unfortunately, the rise of AI art has made colored comics less popular. I often get asked:
"Did you use AI to generate this?" or "Your art looks so good, it's like AI drew it!"
This made me rethink my approach. I've decided to create 1-2 comics that are black-and-white or sepia-toned. This will allow me to save up funds for a full chapter of IDA. Producing one chapter of IDA takes 4-6 months and is quite costly.
However, if I can secure funding of around $640-1000 a month, I believe I could work on IDA consistently and more regularly. I truly hope you understand; I'm incredibly grateful to all of you for your ongoing support, both in sharing my work and donations.
Changes to my workflow:
I'll be adding new ways to promote my work, including:
-Videos of my drawing process to share on various platforms.
-A few short samples of games I play to relax and get inspiration (which ideally will have a few small ads and links to my work)
-Reorganizing RIDAOZ's gallery to make it easier to access and browse.
Thank you so much for reading this message!
Lastly, I know you love IDA and will support her story until the very end.
Thank you.
You are the best!
