Hello,

It's been an interesting couple of weeks. Unfortunately a couple of family emergencies came up, however this did not slow the render process.

One ten second animation has been completed and another is halfway through as I type. There is still a long ways to go, but progress is steady.

Last night I released the first Demo to a couple of beta testers, feedback so far is good - however something has caused me pause for thought.

Currently Dreams of Reality is 720p this was a limitation of the hardware I had at the creation of this project - since then I've been able to improve my GPU - enough that 1080p is viable. However, I'm sat on around 1k + renders (including animations) that would need to be redone.

I've given this some thought, and I think it's worth doing. It's a big undertaking and it will affect when I get back to progressing. How does this affect the game? Well - it will be delayed longer than I had hoped. I feel it is important to convert to 1080p now (which is starting to become the minimum standard for VNs) rather than get so far into the project that converting would take far too long.

the alternative would be something I would regret further down the road.

Thankfully I did keep a copy of my scenes, so I only need to load them and change the resolution and add them to the batch render. It sounds so easy.....

Have a good week.

Cenc
