NS2 Prototype New Playable Build

Hey peeps.

What's this? A build release? Uhuh!

In a public post? Yes!

Releases of the NS2 Prototype will now feature a Free to Play mode with limited features. To unlock the exclusive subscriber content, link your Patreon or SubscribeStar account with the in-game auth screen.

Items and features that aren't available to you will show in-game with a padlock icon, go up a tier to unlock them. Exclusive bonuses may trickle down into lower tiers as more content is added, if you're patient enough to wait.

The Discord champs have been testing this release for the past several days, and the authentication process seems quite solid, but please lemme know of any issues.

If you are a FREE PLAYER who hasn't checked out NS2 yet, this project is unstable and the user experience takes some pateince. If you can get past that and think it's got some potential, please subscribe to the project to improve it and speed it up!

In other news, VR is by far the most requested feature, and personally my most wanted feature too. I currently don't have a VR headset, and have been holding off because of the Quest Pro rumors. It seems Meta / Facebook / Oculus will be releasing a new high end headset in October maybe?! I will be grabbing it, and then VR development will commence.
