So where are we up to?

How the heck is it June already?!  In a few days the game will have been out for a whole year.  In that time, we've seen a massive amount of changes, met some new girls, and learned a lot about our lovely MC.  Doesn't she look hot in that maid outfit in high-res, by the way?  Emily's scenes are currently being redone for the remaster, and looking better than ever, I hope you'll agree!

It's been a few weeks since my last full progress report, so let's look at how we're getting on compared with then.

As I mentioned, Saint Alancias was by far and away the biggest set of maps to redo.  With it complete, progress through the rest of the game is considerably faster.  I'd say this represents being well over the halfway point by now.

The leafy, luxurious Lady Gardens Estate is next on the list.  (Like the other two estates, its name is a euphemism for girl parts!)  As you can see, I've already straightened out the map.  This is one of the largest maps in the game so far in terms of sheer size, because I wanted to create a sense of scale, making each property considerably bigger than the more modest Lady Flower and the rustic Honeypot.  

It took a whole afternoon to do when I first made the map, because if you've never noticed before, each of those houses is unique.  Hopefully along with the large size, it adds to the sense that this is the right side of the tracks, and helps to explain the sense of entitlement sometimes shown by the girls who inhabit it.  (Looking at you, Jessica.)

Here's Emily's house.  You can see her new sprite there, along with a first look at the updated Missy in the slutty maid outfit!  Bit difficult to make out though, isn't she?  Let's blow her up and have a better look.

As my focus has shifted to these, I've managed to accelerate in getting through them.  The rate varies, with newer ones being quite quick to do and 0.1 renders taking longer.  Emily's house is taking a little longer, but is worth it for the level of improvement.

Since it's a very NSFW scene, I can't really show you any comparisons from Emily's scenes, but keep an eye on Deviantart, or become a supporter to follow the progress in full - it's the first of the month, meaning you get the most bang for your buck today!

The remaster rolls on, I'm flat out on it because I really want to get back to working on Chapter 4!  Until next week, class dismissed!
