February 7th 2022: Progress Report

Hello everyone, Rem here with this week's Progress Report!

Another quickie report this week, becauseeee I'm still not finished with playing VenusBlood Savior yet!!! It's only February but I think I can safely assert that this is my Eroge of the Year for 2022. It's the same feeling I had when I played Rance X when that came out, 'Yup, this is definitely the eroge of the year material.' And since it's been such a long time I've been able to enjoy myself with a single game like this, I'm gonna keep playing VenusBlood Savior until I'm done~.

That said, Sachinama has been hard at work last week working on a few projects, specifically work related to the new game that we're publishing and localizing. Also, I'm also been slowly at a very laid back rate, been continuing to work on porting the ingame text to the new localization system.

Finally, speaking of VenusBlood Savior, there is one thing that has made it deep impression on me. And that is the fact that one of the main heroine of the game, if not the main one, is voiced by none other than Tezuka Ryouka, who also did the Japanese voices for Karryn.

So essentially, this massive eroge with hundreds of hours of gameplay (if you want to dive deep into the postgame+++++ and all that stuff, it's a dozen hours or so if you skip all the gameplay and only go for the story and sex scene) that costs $100 and is my personal eroge of the year material, has the same voice actress for its main character as our game. And it's just, it's bit hard to put into words how crazy that is that I'm actually part of the same world, same industry like that. It feels blessed to be honest. For now, please let me continue to immerse myself with this eroge, and then after I'm done, I'll return the favor with more contributions to the eroge world. Not at all, I recommend checking out the two VenusBlood International editions translated by JAST if you're interested in checking out the series.
