End-Of-October Status

Halloween Content?
I would love to have the bandwidth to generate things like Wallpapers and other extras for you you all, but my feeling is that any time I spend making things that won't go into the game is time I'm not spending working on the game.

That said, one of my collaborators, Danael, made this awesome Halloween themed drawing:

Danael sketched a couple of scenes currently in the game, including Meredith Asleep in the Kitchen and Brooke Changing, among others.

Update Status
v0.2.0 is wrapping up development and will enter a (hopefully) brief, multi-week period of testing. With the current state of the game, it seems like each time I do a playthrough I accumulate a list of 10-15 minor bugs and tweaks, mostly things ranging from "this line of dialogue is cringe and I need to rewrite it" to "it would be nice if you could use inventory item X on this character to see what they say."

Expected Content
Part I of Brooke's quest route. (No spoilers)
  • One new "reward" scene with Meredith in the Kitchen.
  • New Location: Video Game Arcade Exterior + Interior
  • Rudimentary Map System to travel between the home and the only other location at the moment (The Aarcade).
  • Improvements to three existing "Reward" scenes (Lucy Cowgirl, Meredith Sitting Missionary, and Practice Kissing w/Meredith)
  • New Specialized Sprite animations for MC and MC+Meredith.
  • Windowed Mode*

Plans for v0.3.0
As you might imagine, ideas are kicking around for what to work on next and I think the answer is obvious: Meredith Part II.

I'd put up a poll, but I mean... C'mon. We all know how that would turn out. A plan of oscillating between Meredith Update/Brooke Update makes sense, at least for the short term.

Miscellaneous
I have a saying: "Don't build what you don't plan on testing."

In other words, don't spend time creating a finished product (such as a completely shaded drawing) that you don't end up putting in the game. Below is an example of a drawing I spent time making that won't end up in the update. This is Andrea Parker, the most popular girl in school (and Brooke's hated rival) about to get a facial from MC.

I'd like to find a use for this if I can, so if you have any ideas, let me know in the comments. Maybe I can use this for a "Jerk Off to Andrea" sequence. Maybe MC fantasizes that Andrea is the devil (I would have to put devil horns on her) and she lost a fiddle contest, and as a result, MC gets to keep his soul, but Andrea has to take as big a facial as MC can muster.
