Monthly Update #2
So since completing the last interim episode the list of things to do included making a new tileset, a handful of new assets, and finishing a human model that was teased in previous promotional images.
Voiced by Gina Galore, Sana will be the first other human we see in the series, responsible for operating some machinery in Episode 3, also she will have some manual intervention ;)
I've done some work on her textures most recently, as the originals left something to be desired.

Also follows a few more in progress shots from the animation, I'd say its maybe around a third done by this point, there's plenty of polish to do still but you can get an impression of what the contents of the episode are going to be from them (no surprises here, it's going to involve at least one machine)
I'd estimate that there's maybe up to around another month before this is ready for release, learning such disciplines as lip sync and at least semi-believable human behaviour has been an interesting challenge, initial pre-render feedback has been good so hopefully it will be something special you can all enjoy!
Once again, I'd like to extend a sincere thanks to my existing and new supporters, I really do appreciate you guys helping however you can!
Also it's worth nothing most general content from now on will be released on newgrounds, I've found the system for hosting videos there to be pretty dang good, thanks to Lifetime for recommending it as a platform!
My profile there can be found here: https://maximusj.newgrounds.com/
There will always be an uncompressed eye bleeding detail version of videos available to my subscribers exclusively, although It will likely not be at 4K since the render times are kind of silly for not much additional benefit over the 1080p version.

I think it's fair to say you're a genius, I can't really imagine the creativity one has to have to come up with a whole unique universe and story arc.. I'm also really interested in 3D modeling/animation stuff (I mess around with blender from time to time, following YT tutorials ahah) and for someone relatively new (in your words) you're doing amazing, how did you learn modeling/animating?
Thanks! The thing to remember is that ideas like this rarely are a case of crystallizing in front of you immediately, it's never a case of I set out to do something with perfect vision, you try things and then iterate on them. This all started when I wanted to fullfil a long standing fantasy. And after taking to a friend one day got the idea to expand it into a world.
As for the modelling and animating. Always used to animate in a program for fun called 3d sexvilla 2. Moved from that to sfm, then to blender, learning all the tools took quite a bit of time, personally I learn by doing, set out to accomplish a target and Google how to get there, when I say relatively new, I've probably got a combined total of 8-10 months concentrated learning in the modelling space, and probably around the same in animation.
I see.. this has almost always been a fantasy of mine as well (and also part of what sparked my interest in 3D stuff xD), it's nice to see someone producing quality content on the subject :D
Also, stumbling upon your videos has made me somewhat eager to actively learn modeling/animating again (as I was learning mainly to make something like your videos too, but it would just be a one-off thing and wouldn't publish it, would be just for fun/learning)
Good work so far, keep it up. Cant wait to see how this plays out...kinda feel bad for amee thou..
She was such an under apreciated hard worker
Don't worry, she's not done with you yet.
Sweet!...I was hopin that female stike team didnt dismantle her for parts..."or did they"... ;)
