Happy Halloween! 


A bit early, but I figured people wouldn't mind! 🎃
As promised, here are the first ever Jezebel halloween costumes, in what I'm hoping will become a yearly tradition!
  • Duvessa as Celestia Ludenberg from Danganronpa
  • Erika and August as Bebop and Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • Veska as Alice from Alice in Wonderland
  • Dragana as Artemis from Hades/Greek Mythology 

I feel like the Erika/August one is pretty self-explanatory, but the Dragana one was difficult for me to pick out. I wanted her to play to her strengths and be another sexy, dignified warrior this year, and I arrived at Artemis because she always was my favourite character in those games. Veska as Alice is rooted in me finding the idea of her in that character's shoes, being terrified rather than adventurous and curious, funny. Duvessa's was the biggest no-brainer for me when I came up with the idea. Celestia is likely one of her character influences; I got into Danganronpa super early when I was younger, and I do believe she kickstarted my appreciation of goth girls back when I was playing the original on the PS Vita.
