Hey guys! Part 4 is ready, and I'm really excited to keep sharing the story behind the comic, along with some of the sketches, ideas, and creative decisions I made along the way!

Right after Lulu's argument with Kelsier and her reluctant acceptance as his Bondmaid, we get to see a much... steamier side of her. Yep, our girl has a wet dream about her new Master. (See, Lulu? You little pervert! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)) Sadly for all of us, that's all it was: just a dream.

Kelsier then instructs Lulu to infiltrate the hideout where her target, Zaira, resides. But first, here's Lulu's Cat Form! Honestly, I think it still looks a bit too masculine for her, more like a warrior than the graceful druid I had in mind. Back then, though, I wanted to stick closer to the original druid feline form design. Good call or bad decision? ><

Getting into the hideout turns out to be easy for Lulu. You'd think sneaking into a place full of fierce warriors would be the hard part, right? But she quickly notices something strange: the warriors seem exhausted. And yes, they're ALL women. So... where are all the guys¯(ツ)/¯? I'll explain that in the next update!

The warriors have been dealing with intermittent attacks, leaving them with barely any time to rest and slowly draining their resources. Now Lulu has to find out what's going on there.

On top of everything else, Lulusa discovers Argonite for the first time! These rocks are scattered throughout the cave and will soon become the main source of conflict in the story, as pretty much everything will revolve around them from now on. 

This is where my old rookie-writer habits start showing. Back then, I had a HUGE mess of ideas in my head and just wanted to move the story forward as quickly as possible. I was making things up and developing the plot as I drew each page. Classic beginner mistake! And sadly, it's something I'm still working on fixing to this day.

Eventually, Lulusa meets Zaira "The Exiled" and introduces herself as a diplomatic assistant representing The Will of the Crown. Yep, the council our druid belongs to actually has a name! And trust me, it'll become important later on. Please bear with me a little longer! Hahaha.

Now, about Zaira herself! From the very beginning, I imagined her as a muscular Draenei, and I can honestly say she turned out pretty much exactly as I'd pictured her. She's explosive, ridiculously confident in her own abilities, and has an absolutely unbreakable will. And when she meets Lulusa, she develops a bit of a physical interest in her. (Kelsier knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he dressed Lulu like that. That sneaky bastard. 𓁹‿𓁹 )

Of course, Lulu has another little test ahead of her if she wants to earn Zaira's trust. And as for Zaira's name? When I was trying to come up with one, I remembered a rather... large girl I went to high school with. I immediately thought, "Yep, that's perfect!" Hahaha.

And poor Lulu ends up tied up again....

But hey, at least this time it'll lead to some good things down the road!
