Read Receipts: the big remaster is out (free: Chapters 1-3)


What's new in the free build (Chapters 1-3):
  • Every line rewritten. Every route, every chat. Mia sounds like Mia, Jade sounds like Jade, and your choices actually come back later.
  • New art from start to finish. One consistent look for her in every picture, no more "who is that?" frames.
  • Every kiss is on screen.
  • A new opening. A cold open you'll want to understand, a cleaner setup screen and a brand new main menu.
  • American setting. Long distance means 250 miles, a couch, and her mom texting at the worst moment.
  • A better gallery. Replay any version of a scene you've played (route, outfit, choices), plus a Rewards tab.
  • Chapter Select now lets you set every choice that shapes your route.
Saves from the old version won't continue cleanly, because the chapters were rewritten. Start a new game, or use Chapter Select to jump back in with your choices.

It's Season 1, chapter by chapter, with new chapters every two weeks. Chapters 4-7 and the Halloween special are already out for supporters.

A quick note: this update has hundreds of new pictures, and every one was rendered and then edited by hand, so a few bugs may have slipped through. If anything looks off (a picture, a line, a choice that doesn't carry over), please tell me. I read every report and fix what you find.
