Friday Progress Update, Oct 30 "Peaches and Recreation."
Hello!
Ah, Friday. Most beloved day of the week! And today, I have good news. Not great news, but good.
I've made great strides this week gone by! For those keeping track, the Thursday script is now 53kb and over 240 renders. Over 240! Imagine that! Well, that was the good news.
The bad news is that not only is it not done. I'm failing miserably at making the Thursday a short day. Like, failing catastrophically. Disastrously. I'm thinking I'll need at least 10kb more script. At least 100 more renders and several animations. The short day turns into the longest day. What a schmuck of a dev!
Here's Tiffany. I imagine she's screaming "WHERE IS THE UPDATE?!"
But all things considered, the November release goal remains. It's a very realistic goal, in my opinion. I'm sweating a little, though. Not gonna lie.
I don't know what else to talk about, this is all that's on my mind at the moment. Render, render, render! AI? Meh. Football? Erm. I guess I'll ramble a little for no good reason.
I've recently read three books. The first books in three different series. Because, why not? I read "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown. Kind of sci-fi but not really in space or any aliens. Still, pretty good book. I also read "The Black Prism" by Brent Weeks. Fantasy. It was pretty good too. Fantasy with a lot of magic, but no Elves or Orcs! The third book was "The Book that wouldn't Burn" by Mark Lawrence. A well-written book, but the theme was a bit too weird for my taste.
A bit too abstract and jumping all over the place. No clear story arc like the other two books. I'll probably finish all three series though, before going back to current-day thrillers, mystery, and other stuff. Yes, I read a fair amount. All of it entertainment/fiction.
Right, random filler text accomplished. I'll get back to Daz studio and we'll see about reaching 250 before midnight. Oh, also a word for everyone making Daz assets. Clothes in particular.
Please, for the love of God, include some undress morphs for your assets. We're doing adult content out here, we need proper morphs! Nothing sucks more than finding a nice top and then there's no included morphs to unbutton it and make it interesting. Argh!
Okay, thanks for reading. Thanks for your support. I'll see you again soon.
