🎃 Devlog 10/30/2026 🎃
Hello again!
This week, work continued on v27! The render count is now sitting at around 310 renders and 13 animations, covering everything up to a little past Chloe’s Love path scene. The rest of the update will focus on Iris/Niki, a second segment with Ashley, and setting things up for the following update.
I've also been working on a website! Not particularly necessary if you're reading this here, but it's mainly intended as a way for players to access recent devlogs, release schedules, and up-to-date wishlist counts directly from within the game. And if none of that interests you, you'll be able to toggle it off in-game!
As for the upcoming reworks I've mentioned previously, the current plan is looking something like this:
v27 → v28 → v28.5 → v29 → v29.5
The idea is to have shorter releases dedicated to reworking older content between the usual updates. Rather than setting a strict stopping point for each rework release, I'll simply aim to get as much done as possible within a shorter development cycle, so there's no need to delay things unnecessarily.
Once v2 has been reworked, I suspect updating the older art will become considerably faster, as v3 is around the point where I started properly backing up my scenes, which should make revisiting them much easier.
As for the scenes themselves, those will be handled on a case-by-case basis. For the most part, though, I'll be taking a similar approach to the recent Ava scene update, replacing static segments with simple animations rather than completely restructuring the scenes themselves.
That's all I have to share with you this week! Thanks for checking in, and I'll see you again next week!
To end off this devlog, a wholesome Halloween night!
