And yep, we're still in one of the sexiest parts of the comic. 😏 This scene ties right back to everything that happened in the opening pages, but there's more to it than just sexy orc shenanigans! It's also where Lulusa's whole adventure starts going off the rails: one bad decision, way too much confidence, and a whopping 300% stubbornness. And of course, we get to hear what Lulu's thinking through all of this, and... it's something. But come on, well-endowed orcs and sexy night elves? What could possibly go wrong? ( ╹ -╹)?
Now, Kelsier is no innocent little angel either. The guy's a real b4stard who gets things done through dirty tricks and some pretty questionable methods. He's not loyal to any faction; he just goes wherever the profit is. That's also why he knows this place, and apparently, he already knew Vorzok before all this. Suspicious... ( ͡• _•)
Lulusa discovers that the guy master Talmat recommended (the one she turned down because he was overpriced... yeah, she's CHEAP. lol) is none other than Kelsier himself! The same guy who saw her whole show with the bandits, bought her, and "saved" her from an even worse fate. Talk about an awkward reunion! F for those two poor girls... they weren't nearly as lucky as Lulu.
Lulusa is now Kelsier's new "Bonmaid," stuck doing whatever he says for 9 months. And of course, the contract has a few special conditions to keep her in line...! If you guys want to know what the contract is all about, I took the liberty of translating it! It'll come in pretty handy later on. 😉
Come on, Lulusa, I KNOW that got you all h0rny! As for the art, my backgrounds were pretty terrible back then! I'd usually grab an in-game Warcraft screenshot, slap a Photoshop filter on it, and call it a day. I wanted to work faster, and that was the best solution I could come up with! Meanwhile, I kept pushing myself to do more with every page. Turns out Lulusa and I share something... MASOCHISM. XDDD (Work-related in my case, okay?! (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)) Challenging myself more and more slowly became an addiction.
