The results are in, and it's kind of a bloodbath.
It's easy enough to assume Raven is just that popular, but I do think the essentially rule 63 Sephiroth and very different looking Honoka played more of a part than 'raw character choice'. And this is the closest thing to an actual Shanoa at the moment, so you know. Some contributing factors, I assume. Still, this isn't gonna be a Raven only release. I am still gonna do some Commander and Honoka, this is just gonna be a 'Raven gets more' sort of thing.
Anyways, poll aside, let's talk about the upcoming stuff besides the poll... well, there isn't anything. While I am very much better and am more or less back to my usual self, I do have moments where things are not so good, so I'm avoiding throwing myself into any one thing. My main goal right now is to just do some small stuffs and then hopefully have something decent for Christmas. I did have a lot of grandiose ideas for Christmas, but not sure how it'll go for now. I'm considering reserving my bigger ideas for the future. My '10th Anniversary' is coming up, and since my 5th was huge, might as well make my 10th even huger, right? But I still want to do something nice for Christmas, so I'll be seeing what I feel like and am up to doing at this point. I have been toying around with various characters/ideas, but haven't really had anything 'spark' just yet. I have been doing some animating still, but just hopping all around the place. I was also trying to come up with a PFP/Banner, but still haven't settled on anything I really like, so have some of the stuff I've done.
take your time and recharge. I dealt with severe burnout from work last year, and man, it's rough. I'm still not quite recovered. I'm just happy for anything you're in the mood to create, when you're in the mood to create it. No need to push yourself harder than that.
Yeah, I go through creative burn-out every now and then, but this is more physical burn-out from getting sick and what not. Definitely rough, but I'm at least getting back into it bit-by-bit.
10 years already? I thought you started around 2019-2020 when I first saw your Luna/Iris and Nyotengu SFM animations. If you want a larger 10th anni set may I suggest doing all of the DOA+NG girls just like you did with the FF girls a few years ago. That's like 40+ girls including the lesser known NPCs like Phase 4, Alpha-152, Miyako, Ayame, Mizuki McCloud, Sonia, Kureha, Naotora, etc.
I started in 2018. Next year is my 9th, but if I wanna go big and bombastic, my 10th makes sense, and having a full year to work on it would be helpful to avoid the last time's 'scrambling to finish it while releasing it' vibe. x)
