454 - Splendid.

HELLO, and welcome to another Monday Post. Yes, it's that day of the week again. Time for me to do my duty: post the Monday Post, and for you to do your duty: read at least some parts of it. ^^

SHOP. First things first: this week's Gallery/Shop item is another one of my old illustrations called "We All Chipped In". Heh, I used to name all my drawings back in the day, didn't I? XD Anyway, for additional info, please read the item's description in the shop. Moving on.

AI SLOP. I know that AI pictures tend to trigger some people, so lately I have been just keeping to myself all the amazing creations MrLazare keeps sending my way, basically non-stop all this time :). o7 Anyway, I decided to share at least this one because both of the girls look not only cute but also very much in character here. And it also looks almost completely photorealistic. I mean, I still get a vague AI feel from it, but it looks very close to a photo of some real human cosplayer girls. Even though April's turtle pedant looks like a cross here. (The full version is attached to the post.)

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world. I own a Nintendo Switch version of this game. Well, I "own" it digitally, so I should probably say that I am just renting it at the moment. Anyway, I played a few hours of it before puting it aside in hopes to play properly oneday, but last week I learned that it's actually a remaster of a much older game. And from the artwork comparioson I see that the art got absolutely masacared in the remake. I mean, remakes are almost always inferior to the original (IMHO), but now I know that it's not only true for your regural games but for Visual Novels as well. -_-

FUNNY THING. A couple of days ago, I randomly remembered The Guild, a fan-made YouTube TV show that I watched 20-something years ago. I remember really liking it. It was a silly little show made by the fans for the fans. I decided to dig it up. I opened the first episode (which is 3 minutes long) and started watching it. Then I noticed a link to the new The GUILD movie's Kickstarter campaign in the comment section. I got really excited at first. Seeing all the actors (minus the Asian chick) together again really pulled at my heartstrings. But then I started watching the trailer and... I don't know how to explain this... Everything about it felt wrong. I felt like none of what made the original show good was present here. Well, I suppose I'm just not the target audience anymore. Moving on. (The original show still holds up, though.)

AI SLOP 2. Don't blame me, blame MrLazare: he sent me this real-life render of Avy the skater girl, and I felt like keeping it to myself would be a crime or something. Anyway, the full picture is attached to the post in case you're curious.

THE WORK. Believe it or not, I am still doing the same thing: art assets for Irma's bonding events. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, unfortunately. As I mentioned before, I really want to give every girl in the story two very different ending routes (apart from Linda, the channel boss's mistress). Over the last couple of weeks, I've started having some strange thoughts: maybe I should do this only for April and Irma, while the rest of the girls (Avy, Tiffany, Kimmy, and Victoria) would get only one ending each? But that sounds so boring... If I give a girl only one set route, it puts the responsibility on me as a creator. But this two-ending setup puts all the responsibility for the girl's future on the player, and I really like it that way. Anyway, for now, I'll just suck it up and keep working according to the original plan.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have reached the end of this week's Monday Post. I really have nothing to add. Thank you for your support, and I will see you all next Monday. Laterz.
