[Public] Mark of the Wild - Part 2 - Commentary & Re-release!

This part is probably the smuttiest and most intense section of the comic so far. At this point, I was still planning for the story to be much shorter, basically just one smutty little adventure before wrapping things up and calling it a day. Oh, how naive I was. XD Honestly, this is still one of my favorite parts to draw.
One interesting thing about these pages is that we get to meet the comic’s first villain, Vorzok, an orc shaman who captures Lulusa and later plans to make deals with some goblins. Who is Vorzok in MotW?
This orc is a local mercenary who also deals in... let's call them “exotic goods.” He takes advantage of unfortunate travelers who happen to wander into his territory without proper protection (like a certain night elf), and every now and then, he likes to sample his own merchandise.
I never really intended for him to be an outright “bad guy.” He’s more of an opportunistic businessman who knows how to make a profit when the opportunity presents itself.
In fact, I’m still debating whether to include a little scene featuring Vorzok in the current war arc. And yes, he might actually end up fighting side by side with someone who was once his appetizer. Vorzok, previous commissions. Vorzok is actually someone else’s OC. I basically “borrowed” the character for this little adventure, with permission, of course!
And here’s a funny little fact about Vorzok: some of you might remember that in the early versions of the comic, his name was actually spelled Vorkoz. That was literally just a typo from the beginning of time. Somehow, I convinced myself that Vorkoz was his actual name, and ironically, the owner of the OC never noticed either. WTF ... I eventually had to go back three years later and update a few pages to fix my ancient typo. (－‸ლ)
Another interesting thing about this part is that this was when we came up with the idea of making little animations. Small loops featuring interesting/smut moments from the story, loops are easier to do, however, I don’t make all the animations myself. Most of the time, I outsource that part. ^^.
I’ve always thought they’re a really fun way to bring attention to the comic and give certain scenes a little extra life. And, as you can probably see from what I’m doing nowadays, I’m planning to make much more use of these little animations with each new update!
